why has it taken me 7 months to make this review .... I must admit that for selfish reasons I did not want to share it  ... but my conscience got the better of me

Cannot rate this place highly enough. To combine luxury with a professionalism yet warm and friendly welcome is something you will  very very rarely find.
The brothers make you feel like one of the family and go out of their way t make your stay special.
The rooms are stunning and the grounds too
I really cannot fault it

Some great beaches and restaurants are in the vicinity, but best to have a car (or friends with one :)) to make the most of the area

What a wonderful accommodation! It was a great experience and we will definitely come again for a longer stay. Our villa was lovely decorated, with much care and personal touches to everything. There is everything you may need available. It is a great place for couples, friends and families. The properties have wonderful views of the sea and the nature. The exterior area and pool are very idyllic and peaceful!

Peaceful and beautiful place!

We spent 5 fantastic days there, thanks to the two friendly brothers. From the room quality to the beauty of the gardens and the amazing advice we got from our hosts, we enjoyed Sithonia at its best. Well done during these troubled times for tourism, and good luck for the next months. We will go back

Wonderful place led by great hosts

Where to begin?! We spent a fabulous 2 weeks at Mediterraneo as a family of 4, in Suite Pefki which has a double bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, and a mezzanine which has a double bed which can be turned into two singles plus a small bathroom. The brothers who own and manage the apartments have a great eye for detail and were very helpful and charming during our stay. In contrast to the previous reviewer we were very happy with the cleanliness as the apartments were cleaned every day, and linens/towels changed every 3 days which was more than adequate (only in a hotel would you expect them to be changed every day). The floor towel for the showers were changed every day. There is a dishwasher and washing machine (so no problem with dirty glasses?!!). The view from the balcony was amazing and the pool and gardens stunning. Can't recommend highly enough.

A Little Piece of Paradise

Mediterraneo consists of 8 apartments, 4 smaller and four bigger.
We have stayed at the bigger ones. The apartment includes a mezzanine with a double bed and a small bathroom whereas the main bedroom and bathroom is located downstairs. However only the main bedroom bed can be split in two beds. As this is the main bedroom it would me better if the mezzanine bed could be split. Even more, as you have to climb a rather dangerous ladder in order to reach the second bedroom.
Except from that the decoration and equipment are very good. They have a dishwasher and a washing machine as well as an espresso coffee maker.
Now the negative points: 
1. Cleaning was not what someone would expect  for this kind of accommodation especially during COVID pandemic: the glasses were not well cleaned as well as and most importantly the light switches and the handles and knobs. 
2. The COVID protocol implies the use of air conditioning with open windows. However, the proprietor did not deactivate the sensors, not confirming with the law, in order to reduce the energy consumed. So money first and we don’t care for COVID-19.
3. We have stayed 5 nights and they only changed once sheets and towels. Obviously, and again for the money we have paid, we should have at least the towels changed more often. Especially due to the shower dis function, water was dispersed all over the bathroom and the bath carpet was totally wet. When I asked to change the towels and sheets they have asked us rudely to pay 24€! Well, this was really too much! When in the same area other hotels, cheaper, were offering more frequent room cleaning and towels and sheets change. Of course this shows the lack of professionalism of these people whose only motivation is more earning but without taking into account that guest satisfaction should mainly lead their decisions and behavior.

Guest needs should come first

Mediterraneo is an extraordinary place, newly built, perfectly located on a calm side street in the middle of a lovely olive grove, just far enough from the busy street but close enough to reach all the points of interest (beach, restaurants, supermarket, ATM, boat rentals, etc) within 5-10 min walk. 
The room (in our case Almyra) was a modern, spacious mezzanine with two (!) terraces with amazing views over the olive grove, the sea, all the way to Diaporos island. We loved enjoying watching the sunsets with a glass of wine from our top floor terrace.
We were very picky about clean and modern bathroom and kitchen and Meditteraneo’s facilities were spotless clean, new and offered everything we needed for a two-week stay: proper cooker with oven, huge fridge, espresso maker, washing machine, iron, even dishwasher! 
Last, but not least, our special thanks goes to the owners, Ioannis and Vasilis, who went over and beyond their hospitality and facilitating a lot of the logistics of our stay (we didn’t have a car) in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis, including arranging a boat rental for us, giving us a ride to the beach, and even driving us to the hospital (some 45km away) and helping with translations when I dislocated my elbow.  
All in all (also in comparison to what we have seen and around Vourvourou), I think Mediterraneo, with its beautiful views, garden and swimming pool, is definitely the best choice. For our next visit, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Beautiful suite with extraordinary service

 We were looking for somewhere to stop off en route to Athens from Skopje. Aware the season had ended for most people we were still a bit surprised about how deserted the area looked.

When we hadnt seen a car for about 5km and turned up onto a dusty lane leading to  the apartments we were beginning to question the wisdom of our choice.

This all changed when we pulled into the Luxury Mediterraneo Apts. Greeted by Yiannis he showed us to our spacious split level apt. All mod cons including coffee maker , smart TV with Satellite channels. A balcony with beautifll views of the Mountains and sea.

Kids enjoyed the pool and we were able to travel around the whole peninsula and stop at some of the recommended spots and in some of the more secluded beaches have them to ourselves.

Yiannis gifted us some recently harvested olive oil from his father Theo's Olive trees and fruits from the trees around the apartments. Apartments cleaned and fresh towels left every day.

We planned on staying 2 days but booked an extra 3 days. We would recommend highly.

perfect vacation!

Vassilis and Iannis, the two brothers who run the place, are fantastic with a great eye for detail. Only 7 suites finished, an eighth to be completed quickly, so book quickly if you are coming to Vouvourou. Drinks and coffee available by the pool, but not much in the way of food - grocery store at the end of the street - as well as a restaurant by the sea. On the last day they noticed our car had a flat tire and helped change it for us. Great service in all respects!

Fantastic Place

There's a really lovely calm and laid back feel to this place - perfect after a day on the water or at the beach.  Location is ideal too - in the middle of olive groves, so away from the bustle and hustle of the town, but it's just a couple of minutes away (we often just used the free bikes to get down to the beach for an evening swim - Fava beach is perfect in the late afternoon and early evening).   The local small supermarket is just at the end of the road, perhaps 300m away, so getting food etc was very easy.  But there are many great places to eat nearby too.   The two brothers who have made this place are super-friendly and helpful; it feels like a very personal and much cared for project, rather than some commercial resort.  Only 5 apartments - we were usually the only family by the pool, so it never felt crowded or impersonal.  Very nice vibe.
