When I went to get the key (my husband arrived later that night), the owner started getting too close and walking his hands behind me, even trying to kiss me, despite my negatives.

The owner touched me and tried to kiss me several times inappropriately and without consent, the night of arrival.

The location is 700 metres from the bus stop for the airport and 1900 metres from Fira bus station, which can also be reached on foot as it is lit.

Great choice between the cancellable options.

Unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience, though brief (one night). unkind staff and difficulty establishing communication in English. The room was not the same as the announcement.

Bad experience

Couldn’t have been happier with the place! The owners were so welcoming and helped us wherever they could. Lovely location, bus stop at the top of the road to go into the main town but little shops and restaurants in the area too. Rooms were exceptionally clean!

Can’t say a bad word!

The studio is located in a strategic location, 5 minutes from Thira, near the main roads of the island both to go north and south 4 km from the airport. Rooms are a bit dated, but with daily cleaning. Quality/price ratio for Santorini I would say more than good. Unique neo, being rooms practically uninsulated if you crash into rude neighbors, who come in and go out screaming and knocking doors at night.. that can be annoying, sure this does not depend on the host! However it is an excellent support point, for 2/3 days.

This is a strategy.

It is beautiful place to live in with family. The owner Stravos and Maria are very nice and kind people. Location of the house is very good. Close to bakery, restaurants and grocery store.
The only thing I would like to suggest it could be nicer if  the lady of the house can speak or understand English. It was little difficult to communicate with her..

Good structure, good relationship, good price, kindness and cordiality of the owners, good location, close to the airport and city centre.

Good structure

We spent four nights in this economical, charming little typically Greek hotel, located in the quiet village of Karterados, 10 minutes from the chaotic hustle and bustle of Thira. The first two nights we had assigned a relatively spacious room, with a refrigerator and a small patio. On our return from Ios, we spent the last two nights of our vacation in a beautiful spacious room with four beds, large terrace with views. Maria and Stavros welcomed us with a smile and typical Greek hospitality.

Hospitality and Kindness

We were here with a couple of friends. We booked two double rooms to stay 3 nights and enjoy the beautiful island of Santorini. Our arrival was scheduled for 00:30, and as agreed with the owner of the structure, he would wait for us and deliver the keys to our room, but when we arrived, there was no one. We solved the little problem, we went to our rooms, and from there our nightmare began. Small room, 70s furnishings with cabinets that did not open because of the wood splash, microscopic bathroom with a shower (handmade) plate of a size of 40x40.

A nightmare

I give 4 stars just to encourage us to do more, because our experience started badly. We arrive at one at night and we are assigned a really small room (monastery style) and as if it wasn't dirty enough (especially the bathroom). Obviously not being able to contact the owner we decide to spend the night there anyway. The next day we call him and demand a room change. So it happens. We are given the much larger front apartment and, say, also clean (the bathroom was still dirty).
