Lovely little tavern right on the beach. Run by a friendly and happy family. Fantastic food, whitebait delicate and crispy, and lovely people. Bella the tavern cat is indeed beautiful. Fully recommend it.

Lovely

The premises are right in front of the beach, on the other side of a street. Clean and tidy, they offer anything you need to make your sea vacation comfortable and relaxing. Also, prices are quite affordable.

very convenient

From the hotel 20 m to the beach, the house tavern is DIRECT on the beach, there is a shaded terrace and also tables and chairs that stand directly in the sand, partly sunny, partly under shaded trees. The breakfast is wonderful and varied, even lunch snacks and dinner we enjoyed several times. Niki's mom cooked there very well (lamb, fish and everything else we tried was delicious!).

Super price-performance, top beach location, friendly, charming family business

I come every year with my family and to visit friends! Takis and his family are the nicest people you'll meet! Rooms are what you pay for, basic but comfortable, clean and location is great! And the main thing is air conditioning and it works perfectly! Very close to the beach and high street! Bobs taverna has the best food in Tolo, I would recommend to everyone! 

Wonderful family run buisness 

Simple but well equipped room (fridge, air conditioning, dry hair, boiler room), with a large balcony overlooking the sea. The apartments are very well located, very close to the beach (free beach beds are available to you), to the port. The bus stop is in front of the front door, and all shops are less than 5 minutes walk away.

Simple but comfortable and very well located rooms

It's true: the rooms are horribly uncurated, unclean, mattresses from 30 years ago, the old bathroom but we left the heart here. The location is a fairy tale. Breakfast on the beach is absolutely worth a try and the managers are very friendly. We booked from one day to the next by booking in August on a road trip by motorcycle. We did 3 nights. What can I say? It's left a little everything to itself... after all, like so many places in Greece (it's a little their way of being)...but we felt welcomed, involved in their lives...we felt a little weary. I can only recommend to those who have a little spirit of adventure and adaptability...because the location is really...a few nights.

Horrible but unnerving

Family run apartments and a restaurant where mama Niki is running the kitchen with competence. Father Bob provides the fish.
The rooms are basic, quiet and very clean - but in no way fancy. There is a fridge, aircondition, a functioning bathroom - with both hot and cold water.
Above all there are three things to highlight: 
1. The location - Bob's apartments are situated in the quieter part of a lively touristic resort.
2. The prices - the price with an excellent breakfast was nothing less than a bargain.
3. But most important: Takis and his family are the most charming and helpful lot. Takis parked my car, when I got slightly hysterical trying to squeeze it in a very narrow road.
And any needs or demands were met promptly with a smile.

Only minor regret is that there is no internet in the rooms (there is at the taverna however) - but, considering the great price of the rooms, this is more than fair. 

So go there - be prepared for very basic accommodation, and enjoy the kindness from the family

Basic and cheep rooms - great value for money

I dont recommend for someone with a little extra money , to stay at those apartments. Rude cleaning lady , dirty fridge , old room that may have a nice view , but its not guaranteed. Its a little far from the beach-not as close as it seems on the map and no elevator if you are staying at top floors. Parking is also a problem , but its kinda general around the area. On the positive side is the sea location , which is quite nice, kids friendly and quiet , if you are looking for something like that.

Only for the price...

We stayed in the Bob Apartments in august 2014.
It was written that the balconies have sea view or garden view. But the was no garden at all.

The beach was not nice. There were boats moored around. The most appropriate beach for swimming was at the other side of Tolos quite distant from our residence.
 
There were lots of stairs to go to the beach at least 100 of them...

Very old and dirty toilet brush and it was given at the first day one small piece of soap and the was no other soap afterwards. So we had to buy soap ourselves.
 
Very lazy cleaning woman, that we had to beg her to clean our appartment.

Unfortunately, this accommodation made us angry enough...for the cleanliness (clothes, towels), the shower without a tent and clogged, the old and arranged furniture, the uncomfortable mattress. I mean, maybe we weren't lucky, the owner apologized but he didn't have another room available (we asked to change after the first night because the mattress was very soft and we woke up with a bit of back pain), and finally he gave us a discount.
