The apartment was perfect for what we needed. All the essentials we needed. It was a safe and secure apartment. It was in an ideal location too.

The only criticism was the pillows weren’t to my liking (but that’s personal opinion) and the toilet was bit loose.

I’d definitely stay here again though

50th birthday

Perfect apartment, very well situated, in the centre, and hyper hyper calm. Everything can be done on foot, whether it be monuments, shops, bars or restaurants are accessible. Metro has 20m on foot ideal for a city trip or a longer stay. The small +: Lidl right across the street. Perfect for shopping or breakfast. I recommend!

That's perfect.

We stayed in this apartment for a weekend. The first thing that you appreciate is its very central location, you can reach everything in a short time both on foot and by public transport. The apartment is very delicious, well-finished and very comfortable and above all very well-heated! You can access it with a personal code, no key, totally independent. Apartment equipped with all amenities including a small kitchen and TV.

These apartments appear quite new and have been finished to a high standard. They are spacious and quiet, with everything provided for a short city break. They are on the third floor of a fantastic old building but there is an elevator if you don’t want the exercise of the stairs. Accessed by your own private code with two gated entrances to the building so very secure. Reception times were provided and they were very helpful in storing our bags on the last day and ordering taxis for us from and to the airport. A great find.

Spotless apartments in a great location

Bit of a funny review as were meant to stay here however a couple of days out we received an email advising us the apartment had bed bugs and needed to be closed to rectify the issue.

The service we received was very good in giving us a few options of similar accommodation which they then organised for us. However personally I would prefer to know when a place has had bed bugs.

So i'll start at the beginning, we arrived at Budapest Airport and outside it was very chaotic but we found the Shuttle Bus machine and proceeded to purchase our tickets. We wanted to go to the City Centre so purchased a Single Ticket, Shuttle Bus, Ticket 100E this ticket costs 950 Forints (£3) and there are 3 stops, if your staying at Focus Point Apartments you need to get off at Astoria and the apartment is right around the corner and the journey takes around 45 mins but was the cheapest and easiest form of transport i researched and it's so easy.

The apartment is in a perfect location with an Aldi, bakeries and bars right outside your door but the apartment is in a couryard and so you don't hear any noise whatsoever and the river is literally a 3 min walk away. 

Shopping/eating out is amazing in Budpest with a vast amount of shops and restaurants to visit, H&M seemed to have a much nicer choice of clothes to England.

We had a Studio apartment which was more than sufficient for 2 people (twin beds) and was very clean and tidy, the apartment has a keycode entry which was very easy to use.

Budpadest is vast and a lot bigger than i first anticipated, i would definitely recommend using the hop on hop off bus or rent a scooter which everyone uses. i chose to walk everywhere (big mistake in 38 degree heat) as my ankles swelled up, also be aware that there are mosquito's, i thought being a city that there wouldn't be but got bit a LOT.

We visited the castle and went up in the vestabule, please note that the castle is vast but well worth a visit i would however recommend using one of the tuk tuk type cars (i wish i had in hindsight) especially if it's a hot day. Another thing to do is take a boat trip to Margaret Island which cost roughly about £5 and is absolutely beatiful, you don't need to pay for a trip which includes drinks as this boat serves drinks which you can purchase cheap enough if you want them.

all in all Budapest is an amazing city and i can absolutely recommend a visit xxx

Budapest on a Budget

The location of this apartment was very good, right in front of the Metro Station Ferenciek Tere and near bus and tram stops. There was a supermarket in the street corner, which was very convenient for buying fresh bread for breakfast. The mini-kitchen had all the basic appliances and everything was very clean nearly new. Although the reception was closed when we arrived, the instructions we received by email were clear and worked fine. We had no problem finding the apartment and getting in. We had a nice stay and it's a very good value for money.

We spent two days in Budapest in this little place, in a beautiful old-fashioned palace, the one-room apartment is modern, clean and equipped with all the amenities, including the coffee machine and the kettle boiler, which are also available.

Top position and cleaning!!

We stayed here for 5 nights and have a mixed review of the place.

The email we received before we got there was helpful and got us to the location and all of the codes needed to get in. The instructions on this helped us find the apartments which was easy. When we arrived we were a bit concerned of where we were, the location was good in sense of near things but the actual building of the apartments were a bit strange.

They are on the 3rd floor and there is a small old lift or 3 flights of stairs. I would take the stairs and my partner would take the lift as he cant walk up a lot of stairs, but when leaving and arriving at night I would not take the stairs on my own as they were in the pitch black and a bit lonely. We were unsure what were on the other floors but I can tell you every moment during the day the communal areas (which you need to pass when taking the stairs) were full of people smoking and it smelt really bad.

The apartment itself was good - comfy bed, pillows, good facilities and a good shower. When we landed in Budapest I received a message from the property saying the next day between 10-3 that work was getting done which would affect the hhot water, so this meant be had to be up and showered before this. The downside of these were how noisy it was. On the second day as mentioned above at 8.30am there was work getting done in the corridor right outside our room with drills etc and it was so loud! On the next morning we were awaken again at 8.30am by a hoover outside (sounds petty but honestly it was so loud). The apartment overall is very very noisy - to the point that you can hear people in the next room even talking! The bathroom has a fan and when other apartments put this on during the night you can hear it. I was awoken nearly every night by people coming in around 3am (nothing against this btw we were in late too!) as they made their way to the apartment. The noise situation was just unsettling not sure why the walls are so thin?

Location of the apartment is great - loads of things around and even an aldi down the road!

Pros & Cons

We are on our last night staying at the focus apartments. 
The studio we have stayed in has been lovely. Nice, clean rooms. Staff have been very helpful and great communication. 
There is a breakfast coupon you can buy for the restaurant across the road which is great for a morning before exploring Budapest. 
All the apartments are very secure with coded doors throughout the building and a safe in the room as well.
Location is fab. We bought the hop on hop off bus ticket but we have walked to most places.  High street, the river and the Central market within ten minute walk. 
Apartments are on the third floor but there is a small lift.
