The staff was rather unfriendly and completely disorganized.  We were a large party and specified to be in one room- but during the day they had put other people into our room and it took them too long to figure out which people belonged in our room and who did not.  We were also supposed to get a locker with key for each bed but they said they didn't have enough for everyone because "people take them home with or they get lost".  What a terrible system!

Clean but very disorganized

Outside it looks ugly. but on entering it changes totally, we were staying two nights, the room was great. The bathroom was great, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very complete: bread, jams, jams, cereals, milk, coffee, a wide variety of teas, juices. the living room was great, the receptionists were super friendly. all I have to say is that I don't like it, is the music TAN, TAN FURTE ALL THE DAY. We sat for two hours in the armchairs making time and went out with a headache. the kitchen was super big and very full. and you had a different gift goulash.

We have been to Budapest for 2 nights. We arrived at early morning so we asked for having a shower. There was absolutely no problem, service was excellent. They were very nice, helpful and dedicated for guests. Our double room with bathroom in was excellent - big, clean and well prepared. We will definitely come back to this hostel!

Very nice visit!

The hostel in general is normal. Clean, breakfast included, etc. We were offered the laundry service, as we had already come from previous trips we needed it then we opted for that hostel service. We paid in advance and were returned almost all the wet clothes, half an hour before our departure. At the reception they just looked at me and said what a pity, we don't know what we can do. Anger. We traveled with wet clothes in our backpack. This episode caused my score to drop and erased the positives of the place.

Problems with laundry service

It was a very nice stay at this hostel. The staff was kind and attentive. They speak very well English and all the paperwork went flawless. The room was large enough, clean and well decorated. I had a nice time staying there.

Weekend trip in Budapest

Met my G adventures tour at this hostel. We spent one night - rooms were tiny.. Bed was comfortable.. bathrooms were awful! Toilet seats were broken. Showers were fine. The place felt run down. The employees at the front desk were great! Gave me great ideas on what to do for half a day in Budapest. They have potential in being an amazing hostel but it lacked a lot..

Employees are wonderful!

...finding the places was not really easy for me. I appreciate very much that the receptionist could pick me up and take me to the hostel. I did like the price for one night (13€), room was clean(5 beds for female), bed was done, there were lockers, bathrooms were acceptable, lobby and kitchen were very nice ... i found a fan in the room, no AC; but my night was sleepless evem my roommate could not fall asleep that easy - our room was orientated to the street and it was just loud.. I would re-think to come back.
