I was very disappointed in our stay here.  It was not what I expected.  The "two bedroom apartment" is not actually an apartment, but two rooms and a bathroom on a shared floor behind a curtain, not a lockable door.  In fact, we received no keys at all.  There was no way to lock up our things while we were out during the day and I know that someone went in our room while we were gone (possible they were just checking for open windows as it was raining, but still...).  The entrance gate was always closed and we had to call for the gate to be opened every time we came back (which also meant we needed to be in before 10pm each night which was a hassle).  The beds were hard with lumpy, old pillows and had very old, pilled sheets on them which were not comfortable.  The host was very kind and spoke English which was nice, but the room was just not a comfortable place for our family, especially for the price we paid.

Kind hosts, but not a comfortable place to stay

This private villa with garden is located very close to the Budapest airport, but at the edge of the town so that you need a ca to go everywhere, even for dinner (they don't serve meals apart from a very good breakfast, charged € 4, that I recommend).
Livia, is very helpful and attentive.
The place is quiet but very close to the road, so that some cars passing by may disturb you.

Close to the airport far away from everything else

I stayed in Alex Apartman multiple times as I love the service and the whole property as well. The owners of this place are really outgoing and warm hearted people with huge knowledge of Budapest area and able to talk in multiple languages so you have no problem to communicate in EN, German, Slovakian, Russian languages. Property and the rooms are big, nice and clean. 
I reccommend to stay here as it is really close to the airport as well.

Wonderful 

We are returning customers and the reason for it Livia and Alex's hospitality, the cleanliness of the rooms, the location! We had a car and found that it was easy excess to the freeways and a short drive to Budapest. Ok I know we are Canadians and we have distances but 30 minutes to Budapest wasn't bad at all! I know the end of the day we couldn't wait to get back to this beautiful and charming Pansio! The price was very reasonable and the service and the friendliness of the owners were beyond our expectation! There is a reason why we return here when visiting Hungary. The Pansio is close to the airport, if you have an early flight you can be there in about 10 minutes. There is a lake in Gyomro and it is worth to just hang around and sit on one of the restaurants patios and people watch. Thank you Livia and Alex for opening your home to us and being such a gracious hosts! We will be back!

Hidden gem!

We had an early flight out of Budapest and a rented car to rent at the airport, which turned out to be a very convenient option, because it was actually a 10-minute drive from the airport, actually on a straight line... quiet, quiet and hospitable.

Excellent location in relation to the airport

A bit out of the way but there is a bus service (from Ferihegy) and local trains call at the station (not really near). The owners do provide a car service. 
Nice apartment with kitchen facilities. Good value. 
Good for a stopover to/from Hungary (South) without having to go into Buda/Pest but not a great deal in the local area. 
Nice breakfast to order.
