The resturant was excellent. The hotel it self looks a little old and tired, it could be really nice with a good cleaning, and freshening up. But it was ok for a night or 2. Free parking was nice to have in a city too. The location was really nice set in part of a park by the river.

Good place to stay to see the old part of the city

We booked this hotel because of close distance to the thermal bath / 5 minutes walking / . The hotel has free parking and there is a restaurant downstairs. Our room nr. 29 was located in second floor/ accesible via stairs from hotel reception or lift /. There was no balcony and was partially facing the main street and the restaurants ´ outside terrace. The room was average - nothing to surprise , had an extra foldable bed for our 2.y.o. son. We mainly enjoyed half board - one day we had lunch and second dinner / the menu was different than in the restaurant /- the range was good / soup, main dish or main dish and dessert /. Braekfast was good - options to choose / eggs, sausages to order/ - unfortunately the do not provide gluten free bread, cereals, etc.When we arrived the lady at the reception spoke Slovak which was very convenient for us. Pity that they do not provide discount for thermal bath :(

Good for overnight sleep

The hotel is ideally located for a visit to Györ. Within a few minutes you are in the city centre. The room we had had a balcony with a beautiful view of the raab. The breakfast offered everything the heart desires and the hotel's own premises are also recommended. Unfortunately, a few places in the hotel are in need of renovation.

Ideal for exploring Györ

The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the city center. The room is nice size, modest furnishings, clean, comfortable and quiet. Excellant for the money. The second floor rooms have balconys which we love to enjoy with having coffee or refreshments. Some rooms have views of the old city. Full breakfast is included. The hotel staff was friendly.
We also enjoyed their pub restaurant that has a nice outside seating area.
We stayed here twice while we were traveling.

Quaint Hotel

The rooms on the second floor, which are open to the public, look like a small apartment, a good breakfast, the terrace of the hotel's bar, next to the river, is ideal for a short reading while having a refreshment in the afternoon, private parking and good treatment, highly recommended.

It is excellent.

Restaurant has a perfect price-performance ratio, large portions, very tasty, friendly, waiter speaks German, euro is accepted with conversion at 1:300, definitely try snacks. Hotel just 3 stars, windows leaked, bathroom in need of refurbishment, breakfast good, reception friendly and occupied 24h, hotel owned refurbished

Top restaurant, medium size hotel

Located among trees on an island in the Rába River makes for a very nice setting.  The hotel is very close to the centre of Györ.  The hotel looks more like a resort than what one would expect this close to the city centre.  The receptionists were very friendly and spoke excellent English.  Our room was comfortable and the included breakfast very good (we didn’t try to made-to-order omelet).  Parking is on-site at no extra charge.  Our GPS did not recognize the hotel’s address, Rado setany 1, and reaching the hotel’s parking lot meant circling around a few blocks, bridges, and traffic circles but the second try was worth it.  We liked the hotel and Györ enough that we stayed an extra day.

Quaint and Comfortable

Beautiful location on the islet that forms the Raba River. Very convenient to the centre and the spas. Average buffet breakfast while the whole structure would need a heavy refurbishment. The price is cheap and proportionate to the middle-low level of the rooms.

Beautiful location, but to improve

Hotel is located just few steps fro the city center. They provide very good breakfast. The location on the island is nice. Accomodation was clean not very modern nor renovated. I can recommend to stay there. Gyor is a lovely city. And beautiful atmosphere of christmas market. I visit it every year. 

Best location

We had a room in the attic, it's relatively large, with large windows, no balcony. But be careful! The slopes are dangerous! You can see how many people have banged their heads there. There's no entrance in the shower cabin in the bathroom, it's already slippery when it gets wet. So there's also caution! And a shower gel is missing too. Now, let's see what's good about the hotel. It has its own video-controlled parking lot, the restaurant is very nice, like a pirate ship. At breakfast you can serve cold food at the desk and you can also order warm, but it takes a little while. But the location is crucial for everything. The hotel has something on the river.
