We booked two rooms for one saturday night in this very pretty hotel, in a lovely city, and a well known hospitable country ! I can give a 10 for everything, except the fact that, after a long drive arriving at 1.30 am , we were woke  up violently by the crushing sound of the nearby church bells at 6 a.m, sweet Sunday morning  !!!! It was long, extremely loud and repeated every hour after, but...each time a little softer! The " hard" show was at dawn !
When we told the receptionist, she said she's sorry, but is nothing they can do about it, as this is the tradition !
We considered that people need to know this detail, at least to be warned to use ear plugs ! Anyway, take your eye shades too, as there are very thin , ineffective blinds at the windows.

A very nice place, but there are some problems

My wife and I live in Hungary and wanted a relaxing evening in Kecskemét. So I booked this hotel for just one night.
It has probably been renovated very recently, because it had modern and clean rooms with all comfort, including air conditioning, for a friendly all-in price. I did take pictures of the hotel, but these are the same as the pictures that you'll find on the hotel's website, so their pictures are a good representation!
The reception and check-in is friendly and is being attended 24/7, so they told me.
The hotel occupation was rather low, so I wonder how the noise level will be, coming from neighbouring rooms. The hotel serves a good breakfast. It has no restaurant, but that's not a problem regarding its location.
The hotel's website says that there is a minibar in the room, which is correct, however during our visit (end September and covid-19 around) it was empty.

Excellent stay at a superb location in a beautiful city

The hotel has perfect location, in the city - centre of Kecskemét. The rooms was clean and comfortable with elegant style and modern design. And the breakfast was fantastic; very tasty and lots of variety...  The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel, Great location

Good hotel, cheap, clean and nice staff. Breakfast is also okay. Price performance is top. Plus the central location and free parking.

Good hotel.

The staff here are great from the front of house, breakfast staff and cleaners. However you have to ask to get your room cleaned and towels changed which are just rags.. The bed linen is also very threadbare and not changed for the 5 days I was there.Breakast is not great but location is good. Also my shower was off the wall but I did manage. No toiletries so make sur you bring your own.
Kecskemet is a lovely town but there are much better places to stay

Lovely staff but not great experience

As far as hotels in Europe, I would say this place is average. The wifi is pretty good, but the beds are indeed sofas. The front desk was always nice while we were there. The cleaning ladies we also kind and cleaned well! If you're staying in Kecskemét, this place is good for your money.

Location perfect for seeing the town with its lovely architecture.  Definitely a simple economy hotel but comfortable.  Bed was a futon, so low and very solid but OK for one night. Clean bathroom, no lotion or Kleenex. Simple  continental breakfast placed on each table.  Pleasant English speaking front desk fellow. 
We took the wrong main street from the rail station so had difficulty finding the hotel until led directly there by a kind local lady.  On the correct wide garden parkway from the station it would have been easy as it is just off the beautiful main pedestrian square.  Cafes, public buildings, churches all around and we found a good local restaurant across the square with old world charm but with too generous servings.
Would certainly recommend a visit to this town.

Happy with hotel and charning town

A week's stay in January. Located in a small street, two steps from the city centre between Piaristak tere and the Town Hall Square, quiet without being isolated. Sober but very clean rooms, large bathroom. A varied and cozy breakfast, personally listening and always available. A good address in Kecskemèt.

Clean, quiet, downtown

Rooms were simple yet very clean, with an excellent bathroom and shower. There was a safe , which added value. Plenty of lounge space if you wanted to sit elsewhere.Breakfast was simple but the cost was nominal and the coffee excellent. Service was very polite. Very central, with main sights within easy walking distance. Yet very quiet.  Coffee and cold drinks could be purchased in the lobby. Excellent value.Would stay here  again.

Clean ,good value and central

Hotel located in the city centre, very comfortable, very friendly staff, clean essential services, great for a break or for short stays. Cheap enough, limited breakfast, but relative to the cost of the room, private parking but only for means lower than 1.8m, otherwise you have to resort to the very uncomfortable parking system with coins.
