Very good budget hotel in the city center. Free parking lot, good restaurant in house - indian/pakistanian. Nice staff, clean rooms very good price/quality ratio.

Budget hotel in city center

The hotel is dated, without elevator and with common rooms (where there was the fridge) in a state of neglect. To check in we had to go to another building that I suppose was the headquarters about 300 m from the building where our room was located, lacking a real reception. Everything seems sketchy and unattended. The room without infamy and without praise, small but clean. The location is good, a few hundred meters from the center of Pecs.

Old and poorly organized structure

Simple structure with everything necessary. Available staff and good location to visit the city (5 minutes' walk from Central Kirali utca). Room air conditioner. Free Wi-Fi. Common refrigerator.

Good location

The hotel is located in a quiet place, within walking distance of all the sights. It's all there is to it, clean. Breakfast is cheap enough. There's a parking lot behind the hotel.

Budgetary option

The hotel sells for 45€ the double If it rests acceptably but the quality of the breakfast is poor Almost no breakfast, of the minimal quality that there was It is very well located and well parked around the area.

Good quality/price but horrible breakfast.

The hotel is located in a quiet place, a 10-minute walk from the city center. The room is small, but everything is clean, neat. We arrived late at night, the girl at the registration desk was already asleep, but as soon as we knocked on the door, she woke up instantly and quickly settled us in. Breakfast is boring, but there is something to choose from. After leaving the room we were allowed to leave the car in the parking lot for a few more hours.

A good budget option.

The location is good. In about 5-10 minutes you can walk to the main square. Our room was large, modern and clean. The staff were really very friendly. Both the lady at check-in and the lady who made our breakfast did their homework with a smile. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced, in addition we even got fresh bacon with eggs prepared. A double room, parking space and breakfast together cost 45 euros. A very fair price.

Nice staff - good price performance ratio

Despite booking a family room for two adults and two children, upon arrival we were informed we had been given two double rooms side by side instead. Assuming there would be an interconnecting door I did no complain, but there was no door between the rooms and going from one to the other meant using the main corridor. 
When I later questioned the front desk staff about this I was greeted with a shrug, then when I pointed out that with two children aged 7 and 10 it was not appropriate or safe to have them in a separate room, I was told they have no family room anyway. When I asked why they listed one on booking.com, again just a shrug. An apology would have sufficed.

This is a very basic hotel, more like a youth hostel. Service was very poor, we were not given any information about how to find our room, where to park our car, what time breakfast, etc. I would definitely not recommend.

When we went out for dinner that night I saw the Hotel Planitus in the main street. It looked beautiful and the location was superb. Go there.

Disappointed

They rented this hotel for 1 night because of its proximity to the center (5 minutes walking to the center) and the availability of free private parking.

Hotel Agoston

The hotel's location to the pedestrian zone and the city centre is only about 5-10 minutes on foot.Tettye Park, as well as the beautiful walking path to the zoo and further to the TV tower are just around the corner.The hotel offers a slightly disused courtyard for parking.The room was very large, the furnishings (e.g. carpets) really needed to be renovated.The breakfast buffet was rather modest, possibly at a very low number of visitors.
