The surroundings of Telkibánya are beautiful. The hotel park is carefully planned, beautiful and well maintained. The hotel is no longer so attractive from the inside, maybe everything in it is average. The service is also average. All in all, the price is definitely overrated.

Nice family motel and great sorroundings with an enjoyable but forgettable wellness section.
Good location in the heart of the city.
There are a few things to mention, you need to know when you visit. 
If you operate a wellness hotel it is not questionnable that you have AC in the room it should be quite standard these days.
Well you do not have it here, if you are staying here any other season than summer, be prepared to make a decesion to be well cooked by the heat or get bitten by mosquitos if you risk opening the window during night just to sleep a bit.
This poor young man at the hotel desk runs the reception during daytime, but has no idea whats going on. 
Why do i need to ask for directions where to have breakfast, lunch or dinner (fyi, at the other side of the road among the guesthouses).
Have absolutely no idea about the booking made earlier, even the simpliest, but relevant informations was unable to be fetched from him.
Surely we read the guide in the room but still one can understand my point. Tibibá is quite busy so he cannot be at all the place all the time.
Breakfast was nice, the staff there was real kind nice and immediately tried to solve whatever came up. A+ for the ham and eggs and french toast, and for the coffee.
Bed was comfy though, internet is at acceptable speed, however i do not understand how can you put your hotel computers, smart tvs and guest devices to the same network without isolating each endpoint (it is just a note for you if you read this).
Drain was clogged in the shower so water took a half hour to go down the pipes, it is simply not maintained, just used. Towels was smelly. If you need to pay for the bathrobes i expect no stains, holes and torn parts. Even after the third replacement, then we gave up.
This is not perfectionism, but a minimal expectation from the guests. I'd suggest you to take some time in your own apartments from time to time to reveal these and fix them.
Hopefully you can gain some points that you can improve and guests will be more happy, but i read the other comments from 2015 on TripAdv. with the same problems, so i just believe you simply ignoring those.
Unfortunately we are not planning to return here. Probably our expectations was higher than what we experienced.

Not great, not terrible, not hotel

Perfect tip for familes with children. Kind atmosphere, nice surroundings, children playground. Kitchen is very good as well. Climbing park is perfect spot to actively spend time, they have one small for children and the other for adults.

Aranbanya Panzió

We booked a few minutes ago before arrival, they were prepared for our visit, the staff was very nice and did everything for our comfort. The room was clean and comfy. The food was not very special, and the breakfast was a little poor but reasonable for the price.  I would recommend it to anyone who wish to have relaxing time in the middle of nowhere even with family, kids or as a couple.

Lovely place, beautiful location with very nice staff

First of all the hotel was nice, the swimming pool area was compact but pleasant. There are 3 different pool and 2 saunas, solarium and some kind of special massage bed. Our room was cozy and furnished with modern furniture. 
So our first impression was good, but later on we got a very different service quality. The hotel  is closing every night, but we don't get any information about it,so we closed out one night. There is no ring bell, or mobile number only one think can help if you knock on the windows next to the main entrance where the owner is living.
About the breakfast: the hotel owner run a pension in front of the hotel where you can have a breakfast. The quality of the food is poor, and the assortment is very limited. There is no coffee, fruits, and any kind of locally produced thinks (e.g. jam, honey, etc). 
Hotel is owned by a family and they are working there, but telling the true only guy at the hotel receptions have any idea how have to care about the guest.
Summarize I won't suggest this hotel to my friends.

Nice hotel, avarange service

i stayed in this wonderful aparment block with my entire hungarian family plus my austrailian family - we were late in booking in but there was no difficulties in accomadatiog us and even allowed my daughter and partner to park their campervan on the grass and supplied them with power for the night. this place is very special to me and i stayed in the hotel about 4 years ago which was nice but the apartments are exceptional. they are new and very tastefully decorated - i even got ideas for my next home! all the beds and fittings were quality. the resturant was not up and going except for breakfast but i believe this is not far off now and the short walk across the road was not hard. the complex had wonderful heated swimming pools that looked onto beautifully landscaped gardens and the views from the veranders was breathtaking. there were massage rooms in the pool area.
reception made a fantastic ground coffee if you asked them for one.
if there was a downside it would be that there was no lift (unless i didnt see one?) but the stairs were wide and made of stone so there was no problems really.
i have a very special attachment to this place as my father grew up in the site where the hotel is now but even without this i would highly recommend anyone staying in this clean, warm, modern and friendly place because i know i definately will be staying again.

We stayed one night in this hotel. Our mansard room was in the old part of the hotel. We heard every noise and word from the neighburing room and from the corridor, so we went to sleep late.  At the time the construction work of the new building was in process. The workers began at 7:00 on Saturday morning(!), so we woke up early. I'll never come back again for sure.
