Unfortunately, I haven’t received any response for my complaint from the hotel directly, I would like to tell everyone what happened to us.
On 11.09.2021 very recent visit, my husband Szabó Tamás booked a hotel room for a night to celebrate my Birthday and it was given to me as a surprise.
I was really excited and was looking forward to it. 
As we entered the hotel, we noticed that the balcony where you have the bars is getting closed down from guests for a private event. We asked the waiters who said it’s going to be a wedding however will be open for all hotel guests.
Later on we found out no one could drink in the bars and no food will be served either except the people who attend to the wedding. That was my first disappointment, we had to spend the day out of the hotel.
Later in the evening we went to our room to sleep, where we were shocked to find bed bugs everywhere. I jumped out and went to the reception right away, where I told them I am not willing to sleep in here and wrote a review in their complaint book. We left middle of the night driving back home to Budapest, which is quite far. 
I am still waiting to hear from them about getting compensation for my ruined birthday weekend.
If you want a lovely stay, I warn you not to go there ever, you better choose somewhere else!

We booked here as it is really close to the start line for the November half-marathon and it was good value for that. I am not sure I would stay here in summer if the prices are much more expensive, but overall our stay was a positive experience.

The rooms are small and not the most modern, but comfortable and clean. The bathroom is also small, but was enough for us. The staff were really friendly and helpful for all our needs. The food was also not amazing, it was solid, but I've had better. Despite this, there was always food available, even at the end of breakfast and dinner. 

Unfortunately, the week before we arrived, there had been a fire in the sauna area so they were not in use, but we were informed of this in advance and we were offered free tickets to another (much better) pool and sauna place, which although it was 3km away, was really good.

Perfect for the November Marathon

Two single beds pushed next to each other to look like a double and two separate duvets, shower is useless you can't use it properly without making a pool in your bathroom, toilet smells sometimes, dated furniture, not enough juice for breakfast (if you come late, not much choice left). It is not a real 4 star hotel and you can easily find a much nicer hotel in the same price. Wellness area is really cramped and you can't relax there. Gym is only a tiny room with a treadmill and some free weight, rowing machine and a bike I think. No iron in the room!! There is a warning about spiders in the hotel. Be careful not to leave food in your room for cleaniness reasons apparently? You can't take any food with you after breakfast, not even a small yogurt. Wifi slow and dropping very often. Food was nice and many different choices were served every day and staff polite but not always speaking good English

Not a real 4 star hotel

It's an average hotel, located by the Balaton lake. 

Rooms: 3* hotel room with small bathroom. Hard to say it was fantastic, but also I can not say it was not clean or anything else like this. Just..3* boring hotel room. 

The is a indoor pool and sauna there (didn't use it). Dinner was average and so was the breakfast.

Don't expect too much

The town of Siofok did not seem attractive: flat countryside. The Panorama hotel was apparently built in communist times, not attractive either. It is about 30 m from Lake Balaton which was already rather warm in mid-April. My room was ok. Huge dining hall, good food, service was ok.

Group stay on the shore of LakeBalaton (20/21 April, 2018)

Nice hotel, but isolated, noisy all night, breakfast on the dinner tables the other night, not even washed, server not warm, pool and spa on the top are the only ones in the place.

I'm going to go.

Why? Because I paid €62 for single occupancy of a double, B&B and that is fair value. If I had paid Summer prices I’d have rated the hotel lower. I believe it was a trade union hotel. That would make sense. The hotel has a restaurant that I didn’t use as it looks like a worker’s canteen and I won’t queue. €16 for dinner is a joke, go to the Mala Garden, it is really good and much better value. There is a bar - well a hatch to the canteen bar and there is seating in reception albeit insufficient. The bar closes at 10pm. The rooms are small. In Spring air-con is off and the outdoor pool is not in use. Surely they should say so? Bathrooms are tiny and cheap. Overall though the beds are comfortable and my room was clean. The wellness is far too small for the hotel. The pool accommodates only 3-4 people swimming so the fact that the outdoor pool is not in use in late April at a weekend when the hotel is busy and the temperature is in the 80’s makes demand exceed supply. Check out is at 10 but they allowed me to stay to 11 and they changed me from a sun facing room when I asked so I have found the reception staff to be accommodating, professional and thoughtful. It’s a 2 star hotel dressed up to tick 4 star boxes but it’s good value at €62.

Book early and go in Spring

Felszines takaritas a szobakban, valamint a wellness reszlegen. A fitness terem nincs takaritva, hiaba jeleztuk a recepcion (pok es pokhalo a kardio gepen, ragacsos nyomogombok a futopadon).
Ezen felul soha nem talalkoztam meg hotel igazgatoval azelott aki farmernadragban es poloban kozelitene meg a vendeget, sajnos itt igen: Darvas Zoltan, mikozben epp elhagyni keszultuk a szallodat es visszajelzest adtunk a recepcios holgynek. A recepcios pult mogul kozbeszolt es lekezelo modon vitatkozni kezdett. Tobbek kozott kozolte, hogy sok mas hotel is van meg a parton, nem kell ide visszaterni ha nem voltunk megelegedve. Ebben biztos lehet.

Poor cleanliness in the rooms and in the wellness area as well. The gym hasn't been cleaned at all (spider web with spider on the cardio machine, the tread mills's touch screen extremely sticky).
Also I have never met a hotel director before who would have approached a hotel guest wearing jeans and Polo Shirt but unfortunatelly here I have: when we were about leave the hotel and were giving feedback to the receptionist Zoltan Darvas interrupted and talked back to me in a very rude way. Saying things like "There are other hotels nearby, you don't have to return to us if you weren't satisfied." Well, that is for sure.

The hotel is ideally located. The beach is right in front of the door, the bar mile is also only a few hundred meters away. In the city center you can walk about 15-20 minutes. Rooms are rather small, bathrooms as well. Showering was only done when you wanted to put the bathroom under water. But it wasn't bad, we used the bathtub rather. Wi-Fi open, but fast. It was also enough to watch a different TV station than the ones on the TV (3Sat and RTL). Both in the morning and evening both very tasty, refreshing and abundant. Staff always very friendly and helpful.

Very beautiful summer days

The Swedish table is delicious! It's good that you don't have to go far to Baloton next to the hotel!:). Dinner is two-times: breakfast and lunch. (as in most hotels).
