We were absolutely satisfied. The room was clean and cozy, breakfast very good and the wellness was perfect for us. We had a wonderful girly weekend. The whole place is clean, friendly, in the middle of beach area.

Perfect place for us.

good location close to the beach. The pool is small and the you don't have a bathroom in the area. This is more a family pension . Breakfast is very good. Parking is easy and free. It is also close to restaurants, bike rental services, bike path, water sports etc. I give it 3 stars, maybe some of you will give it 4. I might return, it depends 

it's Ok, but that's about it 

Despite the negative comments we had before we got there, we didn’t feel/see so many problems, but OK, some of them were like that as mentioned, specially the cleaning - we guess they do it once or maximum twice per season! At least the carpet should have had a vacuum cleaning as they know that young children will get there too! Also the bath & the windows need polishing asap! The breakfast was also weak & “thought-provoking”...

Acceptable

We have made a reservation on booking.com especially for the double room and the balcony.
Oance we were there for check - IN we find out surprisingly  that no double beds are available in location, only twin bed, even if on booking it says that there are.
- the balcony was very dirty and uncleaned
- We found hair on toweles and on the bed
- A towel from previous customers was left in the bathroom
- very poor breakfast

Not a great accomodation

The coolest, cleanest, most comfortable hotel on the very shore of the lake! Careful and responsive owners and managers, very carefree roommates. Everything new, smells clean. Nearby everything necessary. A swimming pool and a jacuzzi add comfort. Regular changing of towels and underwear. A powerful air conditioner that could handle even 40 degrees on the street. Really an oasis of tranquility and comfort. Pleasantly surprised!

That's great.

Nice boarding house in toplage right by the lake, only separated by a side road. Right opposite the beautiful beach bath - no entrance!! Nice indoor pool. In the attic children's playroom. Free parking right by the house. Breakfast could be of a higher quality. Room clean, large enough, large bath, balcony. Nice attentive staff, also German speaking. Quiet environment. In the center a walk of about 20 minutes. But no problem with the car. In the city centre at the water tower very nice with some good restaurants. For a bath you can definitely go further. By the way also clear with sandy lake floor, ideal for children, since you can also stand far away.

Nice look after the Formula 1 Grand Prix.

The hotel is close to the beach which is great but there are some problems. 
When paying for the room, they converted the price we had to pay from euros to forints instead of using the standard fixed price in forints and gave no invoice, only the confirmation receipt for the payment with creditcard. 
The price is one of a 4* or maybe even 5* hotel but it doesn't really reflect in the service. For this price we were given a room that had a terrace directly facing/on a roof which was literally a wall in front of our faces. It reflected the heat of the sun, thankfully the rooms had (some) air conditioning. The TV had very few channels. 
In the bathroom, there was no paper dispenser next to the toilet so we had to pick up the roll from the floor or from behind us which was a bit wierd. 
The breakfast options were very minimal, mostly the same thing every day. The only dairy free option was some coconut or rice milk. Don't even dream about gluten and sugar free.  
The employees were mostly friendly and helpful. 

Improvements needed 

Excellent location (on the edge of the Balaton), the rooms are very clean, the beds are rather comfortable, the reception is friendly, in short we had a good time there.

Hotel in total is good, good location, bud the breakfast was awful, small table, no food,  people were standing and waiting for food, when they bring small plate with meat or cheese, 5 people took it and you have to wait again, so to take a food it took me 30 just waiting :( , I was angry, and nobody speak English or other languages. I will never come back here, I can't recommend this hotel.  

Awfull breakfast 

Most important thing in August....the a/c worked great! Breakfast every morning was good, nice selection and fresh. Walk out the gates of the hotel and you're staring at the beach! Parking is limited but lots of room on the street. Very helpful staff. Would recommend this hotel highly!
