Very old hotel in urgent need of renovation. Some hazardous wall elektricity outlets must be replaced immediately. Breakfast is OK. Don't expect to be able to sleep in the weekends:  in the immediate surrounding there is very loud music until the middle of the night. Chinese female owner is only after your money.

2022.06.09-től 2022.06.11-ig foglaltunk egy szobát, egyértelmű vággyal egy franciaágyra.
Szörnyű körülmények voltak a kapott szobában, ráadásul 2 egyszemélyes ággyal kaptuk. Mocskos volt a szoba, büdös, nem volt meleg víz, ami elég rossz pont ha figyelembe vesszük, hogy ez egy olyan hotel, ahol termálfürdő van. 
Nem volt se sampon, se fogkrém, se szappan a szobában, de a recepción az eredeti ár 300-400%-áért megvehettük volna.
A recepciós azt mondta a barátnőmnek, hogy van meleg víz, csak hagyni kell folyni egy kicsit, 40-45 percnyi folyás után (délután) hideg maradt. Utána este mondta, hogy most már minden tökéletes, minden jó, azonnal van melegvíz. 10 percnyi ismételt folytatás után (a fürdő és a mosogató csapja teljesen nyitva volt) rájöttünk, hogy hazugság volt. Lementünk ismét a recepcióshoz, és nagyon leereszkedően mondta, hogy "Próbáld meg, van meleg víz, csak várni kell." de ez volt az a pillanat, amikor azt mondtuk, hogy nem maradunk itt még egy éjszakát sem.  A fennmaradó lefoglalt napokra vissza akartuk kapni a pénzünket (banki átutalás), még úgy is, hogy azt az egy napot elbuktuk. Leírtuk a szükséges információkat, a nő írt egy új nyugtát, és mindegyikről fotót készítettem, így ha később probléma adódna, akkor bizonyítani tudjam az igazam.  Lám-lám, nem történt azóta semmi. Küldtünk egy emailt, most várjuk a választ.  NEM AJÁNLJUK azt az épületet senkinek, amit valaki tévesen hotelnek nevezett el.

We booked one room with a clear wish for a double bed from 2022.06.09 until 2022.06.12.
We got one room in terrible conditions with 2 single bed, it was dirty, smelly and no hot water. Considering it is a hotel with thermal bath, it is pretty bad.
There was no shampoo, toothpaste or soap in the room but we could have buy them at the reception with a decent 300-400%  of their original price tho.
The receptionist told my girlfriend that there is a warm water just let the water flow a bit. It stayed cold after 40-45 minutes of flowing fast as possible. After that, we was told in the evening that now everything is perfect, everything is good, there is instant hot water. After 10 minutes of flowing water (bath and sink faucet fully opened) we found out that was a lie. We went down to the receptionist and she told us that "Try try there is warm water just wait more" in a really descending style, but that was the moment when we said, we well not stay here not even for a night. We wanted to get our money back (bank transfer) for the rest of the reserved days, even with a loss for that one day. We wrote the necessary informations, the woman wrote a new receipt and I made photos from all of them so if there is a problem later, I am backed up. Wonder-wonder, nothing happened. One email was sent for them, we wait for the answer. We do NOT RECOMMEND that building what was misnamed to a hotel. 

Még az ellenségeimnek se. Not even for my enemies. 

We visited Szolnok in winter, so the bank of the river wasn't as nice as in spring. But we enjoyed the comfortable room of our hotel and the warm thermal water inside. We just walk through the corridor in a bath-robe into the medical spa and Turkish bath. The location is very good, the centre is 3 minutes walking. Good price. The staff was very kind and helpful, the breakfast was OK. We want to come back in summer or spring to walk in parks near the Tisza.

One night at the bank of Tisza

Once again a year later I tested the bathrooms at the Tizsa Hotel that I love. 3 swimming pools at a total of 12 to 38 degrees Very nice and clean. Still the same rate 1750 provided per person. The bathroom worked. Super 👍 The hours this season: open until 8pm on weekdays. Friday and Saturday night until 10pm.

On our trip to the Eastern countries, we decided to stop at this hotel. We start by saying that already at the reception, after realizing that despite the fact that we speak 3 languages, but not Hungarian...the two of them laughing at each other, while we were looking impatient. Duration? Ben 4 min Booked with booking a triple mansardata ((as we had read the reviews that are equipped with air conditioners) surprise? We arrived in the room, a double without air conditioner!!!

Dirty, ugly and stinking

When you've grown tired of the next cookie-cutter, up-to-date, corporatized boutique-box, check this place out! Not much more than an hour by cheap train from Budapest, this combination Turkish bath and grand old hotel right on the Tisza River is crumbly in all the right places – but with fresh new linens, playfully eccentric rooms and a five-minute walk to the best restaurants. 
Mind the bogus price on TA: We saw it listed as 38€, but when you go to buy it 15€ are "magically" added in fees.

Faded elegance

I didn't stay at the hotel, but I practiced bathing (entrance to 1670 provided for as long as you want - 3 o'clock is fine with access to 3 pools and a sauna). It's a pity that the Jacuzzi was closed. Pool at 12-20 degrees, 34-38 degrees and 32-36 degrees. Some people drink the warmest water there. I tried and I didn't get sick. Thermal water that cures rheumatism among others.

It was our second time in thermal-spa-hotel Tisza. Good b&b place. Amazing swimming pools with mineral water. Good price.  We had very good rest .For sure we are looking forward to come to Szolnok again to enjoy it. 

Nice holiday time

Szolnok has the advantage of being uncomfortable to reach for a tourist who wants to grind hundreds of kilometers on hundreds of kilometers to see all of Hungary. Comfortable to travel by train and then maybe by bike. But for a tour of force it is uncomfortable. So if you went to Szolnok for a few days you are saved from the great masses of tourists and you will have a quiet city full of parks, cycle paths, good restaurants, a couple of very interesting museums (certainly the city with the archaeological, folklore and especially the masterpieces of the Szolnok School of painting - the others could be the beer and - in Besenyszög - the one dedicated to painter Ferenc Chiovini) and, above all, various baths.

A thermal bath all for you, like you're a magician!

If you want to experience a fusion of baroque and socialism, you're fine on the table. Everything in the room is fine: the heaters from the combination, the wallpaper patterns, the curtains, the lamps...In the big cities, these retro hotels are hip and there are people who pay a lot of money to stay there. In Szolnok you don't know anything about it yet! You feel like a party bonus from the Socialist Party of the Kur. As a substitute for the international chain hotel staff, I've felt quite free. This is very comfortable and the receptionists speak perfectly English. The breakfast is more modest, but it's not worth anything else. In Szolnok, there's no advantage to being in a more quiet and comfortable position.
