This was the most disgusting place I have ever been in my life. The bed was not clean and me and my friend had to put a blanket on the sheet because it was so crubmy. The staff were evil pigs and the shower had so many in it. Not to mention the water was freezing. And don’t get me started on the “Italian” restaurant beside. The most vile food ever and breakfast.... I have no words. Please please DO NOT GO HERE. I still have nightmares to this day. Bundoran is a beautiful place but that hostel needs to be in room 101. Also the cupboard had a big black hole and it said Johnny McSmoke? I don’t know if that was for a laugh but I thought I was going to be possessed. I feel physically sick typing this.

SO BAD

Stayed here for one night.  We booked a private twin with ensuite. We were given a quadruple bunk bed room with shared toilet and shower.  The room was freezing cold and stank of lynx.  The bed clothes didnt feel fresh, as though sheets hadnt been changed.  Lots of noise is heard as room was directly above living room that had a piano.

On a good note, the beds were super comfortable, just wish they had been cleaner and been given the room we had actually booked.  

This place is just 10 euro cheaper than most b&bs so it's best to go elsewhere or even the next town and then get a bus/taxi/drive back to bundoran.

Go somewhere else

The staff especially Raquel is super friendly and willing to help with everything. Everything very clean and tidy Ample and cozy common areas The most complete breakfast than usual in other hostels.

Our Rowing Club recently stayed at Homefield Rock Hostel for 4 nights.  It was our second time here and was just as enjoyable as before.  We were a mixed group of 50 adults and children.  From the start we liaised with Ciara who made sure everything was ready for us and moved beds around to suit our needs going above and beyond to facilitate all requests.  The location is excellent and within walking distance of everything and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.  We would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here if you are looking for clean facilities at a very reasonable price. Its got everything you need comfy beds, clean sheets, hot water and great location.  You dont need to go far for good food either as there is a fantastic Italian restaurant where we ate on all 4 nights right next door called La Sabbia. We hope to return to the area again and would definitely stay here again

excellent facilities and helpful staff

Compare to price Absolutely everything - bed wasn't so much Comfortable! however if I think money I paid no complain at-all, breakfast included, We stayed in room 4.  It was better than few other hotels rooms I've stayed in Ireland. after all who has limited budget its ideal place to stay. Hope will go next year again

Best Price in Budoran ! if any1 wan2 stay by minimum

Cheap stay with a group of friends, booked for a night out. Can come and go as you olease as you are given keys, they had nice facilities. You get what you pay for, would recommend if you are on a budget

Good value for money

I booked last minute to spend a night away for the bank holiday. It was good value for money, the location is in walking distance of the town, staff are friendly and helpful. It is very basic so you would need your own toiletries including hand soap and towels but the beds were comfy and  en suite shower worked well so thats the important things covered.

When we knew we were going to a hostel with a rocky atmosphere, we had a lot of desire. These desires disappeared as soon as we arrived. The rock hostel has nothing but paper and photos printed in poor quality, dirty and poorly placed. We were given the Beatles' room (oh, what a good thing, we thought), we walked in and there were four photos full of moisture, a bathroom with a brand of vomit and wrappings of chips behind the radiator.

I'd rather sleep in the car than another night there.

The theme is music, good accommodation, warm, cooking and communal parties are nice, bed and breakfast, my back still remembers the spring, but maybe I'm wrong! No wifi in the room, you have to go to the living room, very welcoming, near the sea.

Surfing and Music

We stayed for 2 couples one night in August 2013. We rented 2 double rooms for 100 € in total (50 € room). They also asked you for 5 € of bail on arrival, I suppose if you lose the key, then they will return it to you when you leave. We were given a room with two wedding beds and a bathroom with sofas, and the other room with a wedding bed and two beds and a bathroom with sofas. I stayed in the first room. I found at least 7 spiders without looking for toasts (I don't want to know if I'll look further down), some of them I think are cobraban already, because of their size they've been there for a long time. The bathroom was very cheap and the bathroom was very cheap... the cup and the laundry room definitely deserved a nice clean clean clean clean clean clean clean clean clean clean clean clean clean clean clean up the bathrooms and the bathroom was a bit more modern (I had to tell you that the two bedrooms were between the two bedrooms and the bathroom were in the basement, and the two bedrooms were in the basement, and the bath
