A breathtaking view has accompanied us on this escape from the monotonous life of the city. A strategic position to reach Amalfi in a few minutes. We will definitely be back!!!!!!!!

What a wonderful experience!

We arrived at the port of Amalfi and to get to the accommodation there are two options: taxi for Eight Euros or Bus for 1 with 40 y leaves every hour and leaves us like 500 meters of ascents and descents and then on arriving at endless stairs with luggage to go down. An experience that I do not wish for anyone. Fortunately because he received us and understood the situation, he helped us with the luggage. We stayed that night and cancelled three others. Her husband Vittorio bused us in the morning and took us for 25€ to the port where we took a ferry to SORRENTO. The advice is that we access it by car. It is in a very lonely place and is completely inaccessible for disabled people.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Old Poggio for two nights. At check-in we were greeted directly in the small parking lot by Miriam, who took us to our accessible apartment through the stairs and gave us numerous tips on how to move, where to eat and other useful information during the stay, staying available by phone if needed. The apartment was clean and essential, the highlight is definitely the terrace with panoramic views over the Amalfi Gulf. Opening the doors and finding that panorama surrounded by views of the chickens is definitely an experience I will not forget! The locations are excellent, the center of Amalfi is reached by bus in about 15 minutes, the journey takes many stairs, but it is definitely worth staying in this paradise.

Relaxation, spectacular view and warm welcome

We're staying here now, beautiful location, peace and total detachment from the daily routine of cities, fabulous sea, lovely and available managers. What more do you want from life when you go on vacation?

We spent a wonderful week at the Poggio Antico. The location of the property is strategic... in fact it is a 10-minute walk from the centre of Pogerola, and a 15/20 minute bus ride from the Amalfi beaches. The tastefully furnished, functional, clean and extremely comfortable apartment has made our stay even more pleasant... not to mention the breathtaking sea view that was possible to enjoy from the large terrace.

Extraordinary position

We stayed at the Old Poggio for two nights in complete relaxation. We were welcomed by Miriam who, with all the precautions of the moment, was very kind and provided us with a lot of useful information about places to visit as well. The apartment where we stayed was clean and spacious, the kitchen was complete with all the comforts and in the fridge we found milk for breakfast, as well as coffee, slices of biscuits and marmalades. The terrace was very wide and offered an exceptional sea view. We recommend it to anyone, we found ourselves very well and we will definitely return.

We stayed for 5 days at the Old Poggio, our apartment was delicious, with an arched terrace and a breathtaking view. The location is excellent, it is in a very quiet, cool Amalfi fraction and above all well connected to the center of Amalfi.

Beautiful Apartment and View

We, my 27 years old son and myself, enjoyed our stay very much.
The place is lovely and can fit several couples or a big family in several rooms/apartments. Quite many stairs down from the road and about 20 minutes ride to town.
A good pizza nearby.
Antonella was very nice over the phone and agreed for s later check out.

Great escape near Amalfi

Loved · The sea view, splendid from the terrace. The lemon fields at the foot of the house. The beautiful mountains of the forested backcountry. Disliked · No privacy: it is not an independent house but a portion of a larger apartment, itself part of a shared house. A simple locked door separates your bathroom from the neighbours! Hellish geographical situation when you are on a bus/foot: the house is lost in the mountains, away from the village of Pogerola, very shady of Afili. Is the distance called in the neighbourhood from a high noise? Is it impossible to get into and out of the night! Why is it not possible to get into and out of the city? Why is it so hard to find someone else?

Not suitable for pedestrians, not practical, old and not corresponding to the advertisement
