We know this place from a previous stay and all in our family agreed after the first stay that we should go back to this jewel in Umbria.
In the midle of July we were lucky to see Stefano and Nicoletta again. 
They made this week perfect for us!
This time we visited a local wine yard  very close to the house and tasted some very good wine. We also enjoyed Carsulae, a fantastic Roman ruin along one of the main Roman roads, Via Flamina. It is even more exciting to witness Roman history alone , without other tourists!

We really recommend this property and this region of Italy!

Another fabulous week i Umbria

I have just returned from this small place in the Umbrian hills, where peace and relaxation reign.We had rented the whole house and we found ourselves very well together, both for the place and for the warmth and hospitality of the landlords.

A Quiet Family Weekend

I had the pleasure of visiting and experiencing the very pleasant shady atmosphere in the valley of the sunflowers, cocked with the sweet shady hills that like a hug welcome you in this old country house of old times. In the shadow of the old and wise oak the wind of a hot summer has graced my thoughts pleasantly, snatched by the images of absolute relaxation that only this spike of Umbria can give you. Congratulations to the two owners who make you feel at home, suggest you excursions and a thousand things to visit, soon and good work.

Bread, love and shadowy wonders!

We stayed at the B&B Le Bandite for two nights this summer. We had a very good time, Nicoletta and Stefano welcomed us warmly and cordially, they were very available. The house is very nice and large, we were in 7 and we were wide. Peace and tranquility reigned in the cottage.

Holidays 2015

We stayed in this beautiful cottage in the middle of spring. We were completely fascinated! You reach the house only after crossing a road that goes through a forest....from here you can sense that you will arrive at an exclusive place, immersed in nature: while we were walking along this white road a beautiful pheasant stopped in front of our car!!! After a few meters you start to see the cottage on top of a hill with nothing around, except the forest and the fields. The accents from the bookstores were very cordial and we felt at our property immediately. We entered and the lady offered us a coffee, then we went to the upstairs hall and showed us the room (our beautiful, elegant house is located in the front of the building).

It's a beautiful location.

For us, it was a great disappointment, even compared to some reviews we read: we were expecting a charming place for a short romantic weekend and instead we found: - a completely impractical access road, even with the off-road we risked leaving us pieces, and the owner's apologies for the road only made things worse: if you know that the road puts customers' cars at risk why you don't fix it? - a crazy cold in the country house (because this is what it's about) both in the commonplace and in the room.

High-pitched name, very spartan place.

We, two families of 11, spent a week in Umbria at Le Bandite, between Dunarobba and Avigliano Umbro. We have been traveling in Italy the last 5 years, including house rental in Tuscany, but this was our first stay in Umbria. We felled in love with the house, the surroundings and the owners, Nicoletta and Stefano at once! This is really a paradise! The house is very nice and very well equipped. The swimming pool (with salt water, which we prefer) area is beautiful with a fantastic view of the nice Umbrian countryside. Nicoletta and Stefano lives in the neighboring house, which is very discrete with no view to the house. They are very nice people, friendly, helpful and understanding (this was important for us since one of us was a 4 year old boy that sometimes was very angry...). When we left the house, he had broken a few things, but the owners did not charge us anything. After two times in Tuscany, we all agreed that Umbria seems to be even nicer. The landscape was more open and even more beautiful and varied, and Umbria has a lot of beautiful small towns like Spoleto, Todi, Amelia and Orvieto which in our view are underestimated compared to similar more well-known towns in Tuscany. We will definitively be back in Umbria and Le Bandite!

A fantastic week in Umbria

I spent a week at this fine agriturismo in Avigliano Umbro, a small town that forms part of the Umbria county in Italy. The place is managed by the owners, Nicoletta and Stefano. The place is simply a paradise to put it in simple words. The stillness of the surroundings is absolutely what one needs to relax and chill out on a deckchair near the pool. We opted for a full board - the service was second to none and the food was fantastic, expertly prepared by Jane, a fine lady, who lives nearby. In my books, these fine people have raised the bar quite high, when one begins to talk of service and hospitality. Simply, first class.
