It's a small, family-friendly hotel with excellent food and service. It's a wonderful property with a view of Lake Garda. The pool is perfectly sized and always clean. There's plenty of parking.

A Delight for Heart, Soul, and Stomach

Romina and her team are always worth a visit. A beautiful location, great views, perfect food, beautiful rooms are the regular reason to spend a few days there with your wife or/and friends by car or motorcycle.

I 'd like to go back

Once again in the Mariano - once again beautiful!!! Despite Corona everything is very orderly, breakfast is served and is very rich! The dinner, as always, super well prepared and delicious! The hosts started from the mom, so warm and loving that you just feel comfortable. Every year again is a program for us!

A wonderful, relaxing vacation

If you want to spend a relaxing day in a family-friendly dream environment with excellent food and a unique view of the lake, there's actually only one address.

Great location with spectacular view of the lake! We had a sea view room with a small balcony in front of it. Room and bathroom facilities are convenient, modern and in good condition. The hotel is family run, the chef is extremely friendly. Breakfast for Italian conditions is very good, dinner must be pre-ordered in the morning, is extremely delicious with regional note and good price ratio, very nice wine selection! Swimming pool with view is simply great, you feel that a lot of time has been invested here recently and yet there is more individual charm to be found everywhere. The drive over the Serpentine golf course or lake is for Andine or nearby, nothing has bothered us in the beautiful (Bogliaco) area.

It's perfect.

We were in Mariano for the fourth time in a row. It's always nice to be there! Family atmosphere, nice rooms and a great dinner in the evening! Good wines from Lake Garda (Lugana) also at fair prices. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place to be. Beautiful terrace with a brilliant view of the lake, absolutely clean swimming pool with good sunbeds, who needs it, a small gym with stepper etc.

It's great again!

This place is amazing. I really cannot believe how lucky we were to accidentally book this wonderful hotel off the beaten track but definitely worth the wiggly miles to get to it!  The family who run the hotel ensure every guest has everything they need for a truly pleasant, peaceful and restful stay. I cannot fault the  staff and the accommodation. It is not modern in the sense sense of everything being the same but instead it is full of character with the most amazing views. The important things, hot showers, comfy beds, lovely towels, cleanliness are all in place. The  pool is perfect and quiet. The two star rating hides a gem. The most important feature of this wonderful place are the people who without exception are wonderful!

Perfect place

We just spent five nights at Hotel Mariano and recommend it highly.  Romina is a perfect host, offering friendly service and a wide range of gorgeous homemade food in peaceful surroundings.  The hotel is located in Sasso, 15 minutes up a switchback road from Gargnano on the lake.  The views are stunning and the gardens are full of flowers.  The pool and well appointed pool house/gym are lovely.  We ate the generous breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake and surrounding hills. On a rainy evening we ate by candlelight in the restaurant.  The food was outstanding.  They produce their own olive oil and the pasta is homemade.  We regretted eating out one night during our stay because nothing matched the hotel's dinner and gorgeous desserts.  We loved it.

The best of Lake Garda...view, hospitality, food

Great location although a little long journey up the mountain with many serpents and curves, for which you will be rewarded with a wonderful view over the lake Large parking lot with half shaded spaces nice reception, the owner speaks very well German even if we were satisfied with Italian, therefore also mainly German in the hotel. Wonderful view of the hotel terrace where you can also have breakfast and eat Extreme nice owner + and the staff in general unfortunately very small room but extremely quiet, who comes here looking for peace. The most positive is the location with a fantastic view of Lake Garda. Service is satisfactory but the rooms are too small for the price, old little bathrooms, old furniture, medium breakfast. Taste is up for debate, but a renovation is definitely overdue. In conclusion: overpriced, we won't come back.
