We had booked 6 nights we finally spent 3. The reason being the noise in the morning... the rooms give directly to the breakfast room. So we were up from 7:30 in the morning and that's until 10:30 non-stop... The little dej was very disappointing I don't understand the very positive comments... fruit juices and yogurts and industrial and low-end snacks.

Disappointed

It's a simple structure and it's immersed in the Maremma with a beautiful view of the hills, but at the same time 15 minutes from the sea. It's a spacious and very clean room and bathroom.

The top

The place is very nice but the owner Pino is a jerk. When we arrived he was stinking drunk. The lack of hospitality is atrocious. The breakfast was good, the view is amazing, the location is very nice. We got massacred by mosquitoes every night, if you choose to come here bring not only bug spray but also spider spray, check out the beast that was in our room when we arrived! We wrote to the owner we would bring our little dog, as we left he said that he should have charged us more because we didn't advise him, but we have an email that clearly says we were coming with our pet. It also says pet friendly on the listing so I don't know what the owners problem is. The pool also looks good in the listing but is actually just a few feet wide and very small. We were told to leave the room by 11, I gave the owner the keys at 11:10, he got in a verbal fight with me! When I told him that was not the proper way to treat guests and I would leave him a poor review he responded by saying, "I don't give a f#@k!" It's a shame because the place is very nice, but if you treat your guests like this you should not be in the hospitality business. We are a nice family with two small sweet kids. It's unfortunate our trip had this ugly issue when all we wanted was a relaxing weekend get away.

Host is a total jerk

It's a beautiful and harmonious place. The structure is beautiful and immersed in a very relaxing setting. The excellent hospitality and hospitality was very nice and the staff makes you completely comfortable. The best thing is in the morning, breakfast on a small but cozy porch full of energy and energy for the day. We went with our dog who felt at home and enjoyed that place. Beautiful, very beautiful.

The weekend

It's a beautiful farmhouse, very clean, very friendly staff, but there are two pitfalls: breakfast from 8.30am and honestly too late, and not very varied, with cakes that have stayed overnight for a week and always the same. Then the swimming pool that you can't call it that.

A breathtaking view

The farmhouse enjoys a unique view and panoramic location! In the middle of the hills, about 6 kilometers from the first town centre, it is however very convenient, both for a day at the sea and for visiting the wonderful villages of the area. The impression I had during my stay is that with the potential of the structure, this is little exploited and left a little in the balance of time. Nothing to say about the kindness of the owners/managers, but honestly, from the photos of the site and for the price I would have expected something more. Breakfast in the middle and swimming pool really small. You can and you must do more.

Position is okay.

Lovely personal rooms. Soft beds. Stunning views. Good breakfast. Also Anna and her staff are very welcoming and helpful. Also there is a very good restaurant just down the hill. I does not look like much but the food is wonderful. I higly recommend Podere Cavone.

Perfect place for a calm and pleasant stay

A spectacular view with sunsets to leave breathless. Very courteous and friendly staff. Quietness a few kilometers from the sea and the most beautiful locations. Great food. Clean and comfortable accommodation suitable for both couples and families with small children. Highly recommended!

Great location: remote in the Tuscan hills (the views from the breakfast table and from the swimming pool are stunning), yet close to the beach and to many places worthwile visiting.
The breakfast was OK, but could have had a bit more variety.
The rooms don't have air conditioning, so it can get hot during summer nights.
Wifi coverage in the rooms and the breakfast area is good. No wifi at the swimming pool.
The car can be parked in the shade.
We paid €150/night, which we found average value for what was offered.
Very friendly and helpful owner.

Great location in Tuscan hills

We have spent six wonderful days in this agricultural tourism. Magnificent panorama of the Maremma hills. The rooms are very clean, the breakfasts excellent. Central location to visit the Maremma. We will surely return there.
