Location and surroundings: The family-run and manageable Hotel Garni Ischia is located about 600m outside the centre of Malcesine. Both the mountain railway's valley station and the numerous shops and restaurants in the area are within walking distance. The hotel offers a starting point for walks or excursions around Lake Garda. Rooms: We also had a sufficiently large and really clean floor service with functional rooms and good equipment. There are well-equipped plungers in the room. The functional and quiet air conditioning, as well as minibar and water cookers. On the new quality mattresses we slept perfectly together. The bathroom is very well furnished, but with relatively early morning guestrooms and expensive facilities (a.k.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.e.a.a.e.a.e.a.e.a.e.a.e.a.e.e.a.e.e.a.e.e.e.a.e.e.e.e.a.e.e.e.e.e

We stayed here for 4 nights with friends and booked 4 of the rooms. There were 10 of us in total
The pool area was lovely & we enjoyed chilling there a few times.
The rooms were nice & were cleaned every day. 

Great area and Short distance from the town 

I think the highlight of our stay is that all the staff were helpful and accompanying, and really went out of their way to help us on a couple of occasions. They were especially helpful on the day of our friends wedding and let us borrow their iron so we could iron all of the men’s shirts (the iron that they use to clean the rooms) so thank you so much for that!
Massimo also helped us getting to a bus stop, as we stayed in Venice for a couple of days after our stay in Malcesine.

Overall would definitely recommend & would also come back here again! :)

Lovely family run hotel

Absolutely a fantastic little hotel in a quiet corner of Malcesine! From the first day we felt welcomed and cosy.

The staff is super friendly and helpful.

The interior of the hotel is recently renovated, modern and clean.

Good breakfast to every taste. 

A location is very good in a silent alley but still in walking distance from Malcesine centre.



Fabulous

What a fantastic family run hotel. From our arrival to our departure Massimo and his family made us feel welcome and very much at home. The standards kept in the hotel are excellent and is maintained throughout your stay, you can really tell that the owners care about the hotel, local area and there guests. There is a small pool area which is perfect for a cooling swim.  A short 10 minute walk and you are in the town and by the lake. 

The rooms are small but the facilities are excellent with comfortable beds, great bathrooms and excellent WiFi what more do you need. 

One recommendation I would make is rent a car and explore a little further there are some lovely little towns/ villages to look at all with there own identity. 

All I can say is thank you for a lovely stay and we will definitely be back. We have found a little gem surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

A little gem

Very well managed hotel, top cleaning, top breakfast, top kindness and empathy, rooms and bathrooms are modern and functional, the garden with the swimming pool is perfect for a few hours of relaxation.

A welcoming and pleasant family structure

Beautiful little hotel with amazing views. The location is great, just a short walk from the beach and cable car. Old town is app 10min walk away. The hotel is really clean and 6/5 service with Massimo and the rest of his family. Spent amazing 3 nights here with two teenagers.

What a gem 💛

Beautiful hotel, rooms and bathrooms are well furnished with modern and clean furnishings. Excellent and abundant breakfast. Gradeful swimming pool. It is located about 10 minutes walk from the centre of the village and close to the cable car to Monte Baldo.

Away from crowds in Malcesine - cute boutique hotel. Comfortable rooms. Outstanding staff who were helpful and accommodating in every way during our stay. Lovely scent of jasmine everywhere. Nice breakfast buffet with outdoor seating, awesome croissants. Recommend top floor room for best views, room 10.

Excellent boutique hotel

Very nice small family-run hotel. The hotel is very clean and modern, we didn't miss anything. The family and staff were very friendly and were open-minded. The breakfast was particularly highlighted, we didn't miss anything. We are repeaters and found it this time, even better. The hotel is quiet and very close to the old town, about 10 minutes' walk. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the good time.
