We arrived by bicycle at the end of the rainy season. The hotel was not operational due to the earthquake. We were offered two simple rooms at a low price in an intact annex building, a community kitchen. In the container village opposite a bar-restaurant (the old village is almost destroyed) a great umbryo kitchen in an unreal environment. Thank you for so much hospitality.

Iron Fist Lunch, fixed menu and right price. All great. and delicious, we were about 20, there was also the possibility of the extra. Kindness and courtesy are certainly not lacking. A iron Fist at the top!!

If I had done so before, I would have reviewed it, ignorant of the disaster that was about to come. Now more than ever I want to reaffirm the excellence that is closed in this small world made of peace, the good food nature and sense of hospitality that is here than ever before and tell travelers that our little heart left there in 2015 has been, as promised, found well guarded. And to tell again how strength, desire and ability to improve are never a goal but always a new beginning, how commitment behind every gesture, every smile of this incredible team led with respect and dignity by Fausto.

Nature, friendliness, the Vector Hotel

We were with a group of friends for a few days at this facility to spend a relaxing week when the earthquake came to an end. I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent service and the excellent cuisine that we enjoyed in those few days, but above all I want to thank all the staff for the altruism shown in those terrible moments.

Stay relaxed... then the earthquake.

We stopped one night in three tired and hungry motorcyclists after many miles in the beautiful valleys around us. They didn't expect us but they did everything they could to settle us, well, in two cozy rooms. We also had great food with the staff who followed us with competence and utmost kindness. The next morning we left after a comfortable sleep and total silence and a rich breakfast. After five nights there was an earthquake and I hope that the people and the structure did not cause any damage. Absolutely recommended. Ideal for families.

One night

I've been going here for 2 weeks for the last 3 years, and every year it's amazing!!! The rooms are large and clean. The area is beautiful and is a perfect place to relax and walk. All the food is locally produced and is cooked to perfection by Renzo. Some of the staff even speak a smattering of English to help any international travelers. I'd definitely recommend a trip here to anyone, thanks for another amazing holiday Fausto x

We stopped here for one night on the Grande Annello dei Sibillini. 
Staff was VERY helpful, more than one could expect. The room was neat and the hotel has a charming, cosy atmosphere. Breakfast was rich and above average. Overall exceptional good value.

Overall exceptional good value

Albergo Vettore is the perfect hotel for a calm, relaxing break from Rome. Nestled in the mountains, it is surrounded by nature and beautiful scenery. I stayed during the Easter weekend and I was welcomed like a family member by the hotel staff who were so accommodating and friendly. Fausto the hotel manager is a wonderful host, doing everything he can for his guests and always asking if I wanted another drink or more food! The food was excellent- I enjoyed a six course lunch on Easter Sunday consisting of delicious pasta dishes, rich meat courses and yummy homemade cakes. Hats off to the chef Renzo! The waiters Federico and Andrea were very attentive and attempted to converse in English which was very kind of them.The room was simple and clean, with all the amenities I needed. The hotel has a cosy, family feel to it as I relaxed during the day in the TV room. The local village is very quaint, consisting of two bars and a few restaurants, and the locals are very friendly. For two euros I got a glass of wine and sat overlooking the beautiful Mount Vettore, I could not complain! Definitely worth a visit if peace, nature and comfort is what you are looking for.

Perfect weekend break away from Roma!

This was the only available accommodation in Balzo and it was a detour on foot from the Grande Anello walk as the rifugio at Montegallo was closed. The room was clean and the views from Balzo of Monte Vettore were spectacular. However, there was no dinner at the hotel or anywhere in Balzo (all closed) and no early breakfast available at the hotel - only a coffee and croissant in a local bar. Bad news for walkers and tourists.
