Gentle and available owners, exceptional room cleaning, entering the alleyway, you seem to feel the coolness you usually feel on the hill, a stay to recommend to friends.

A privileged position, I would say the best of CAVO, people available and precise in every sense.

The hotel is convenient for those arriving by ferry to Rio marina (9km away). Strategic position: you cross the road and you are on the beach, in Cavo there are all the necessary facilities (pharmacy, tobacco shop, salumeria, bakery, pastry shop, water sports, exceptions) and above all the hotel offers a convenient parking included in the price.

Elba beach

The kindness of the people who run this hotel is unique! We were in Cavo for two days, (husband and two small children), there were events of all colors, and they showed us immediately their willingness and sensitivity. We are a little too used to judging the appearance (beautiful that, unbeautiful that, but we also look at the human substance.. we are a little forgetting about it) A quiet place, a few meters from the sea, simple and very clean. The hotel is located in the centre of the small town of Cavo, which can be reached in a 15-minute walk from Piombino.

All you need

We stayed at the Maristella Hotel for 15 days in August 2022. The staff and the owners (the mother and her daughters) were very professional, kind, cordial and always available. The rooms were very beautiful and very clean. Breakfast for all tastes: salty and sweet products with delicious homemade cakes and seals.

This is a fantastic hotel.

With this review I want to be honest... would I go back to it? NO The hotel is rather sluggish, still in the 60s. The room was old, without air conditioning (we knew this) but it was not even possible to keep the windows open so much because there were a lot of mosquitoes (from mosquito nets or curtains even the shade..).

A (very) long trip back in time

A very elegant place where everything makes sense, the atmosphere and the style reminds a little of the French... the owner, her daughters and Mrs. Maria with their kindness and professionalism, they are impeccable in making the stay at them perfect, very good.

Elegance, education and professionalism

Just very bad without the air conditioning structure mausoleum looks like a nursing home to avoid poor breakfast not matched x who is on a diet rubber brackets ugly place to stay away it's worth nothing in my opinion it's going to remake the whole structure

The indecency

We stayed at the Maristella Hotel for 4 nights. It's a simple but very well maintained hotel. The rooms are very clean (and they were taken care of every day with extreme care), the staff very kind and available. The good and well-groomed breakfast (cakes, brioches, fruit and sliced bread, juices and cappuccino, all fresh).

The perfect hotel for a perfect vacation!

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. We had a great time. The rooms are spacious, clean with all amenities. The owners are kind and always willing to meet any request. Breakfast is very good based on homemade sweets. The beach of Cavo is very beautiful with a crystal clear, emerald green sea and is a short walk from the hotel. We will definitely return.
