A very centrally located hotel that allows you to visit without having to depend on transportation.The rooms are fair, but they are well equipped and clean.The comfortable bed and the adequate bathroom.It was recently renovated.The staff is very attentive.

A trip to Rome.

Owners were SO accommodating .  Lovely guest house near the  Pantheon.  Close to all the sights, great breakfast.  Room was comfy and breakfast was terrific.  This is a great neighborhood if you like to be walkable to the old "town".

Excellent 6 night stay

Very quaint accommodation, clean comfortable and modern in deco! Loved the mood lighting in the shower but unfortunately my son loved it a little too much ..I couldn’t get him out!
Everything you need is in the room; hairdryer, coffee machine, tea, biscuits. Could have done With more milk but I suppose we could have asked for more! There is even a little balcony although however being on the 2nd floor and amongst locals the view wasn’t the best!
The room was very warm which was good as the weather wasn’t too good! It was quite central being in the Pantheon region but down a cobbled street. Security very good there, big secure doors , cameras etc. The downside side for a mum and son break was the fact that it was room only so no bar, no communal area so at times felt confined. Ideal for a couple wanting a romantic retreat. Very helpful staff can’t fault the service!

Hidden Retreat

The room is very spacious, well decorated and with all the amenities.The location is excellent, right in the center of Rome, very close to all the tourist attractions.The service is very attentive and friendly.Magnificent value for money.

Wonderful and wonderful.

Although the reception was already closed, the check-in functioned smoothly. Minerva Relais is very central and is a good starting point to discover Rome on foot. The staff is very helpful and hospitable, we will have felt very comfortable. Although our room was rather small, it provided everything you need for a short stay. We can't blame anything on this accommodation, so highly recommended!

Perfect Accommodation in Rome

Finally getting around to reviewing this great little hotel we stayed at for three nights in September 2017. Our trip to Rome was a special adventure as my husband and I brought my parents to Rome. Weeks prior we had reserved the two rooms and through the hotel also made arrangements for a car to pick us up from the airport. The car was more cost effective that purchasing train tickets for four people and paying for a taxi from the central terminal to the hotel.  The car service was waiting for us in the crowded arrival hall with our name written on a piece of paper.

The hotel entrance is a simple green door which can be very easy to miss. We were greeted by a very nice young lady named Valentina.  She made my parents feel at ease during their first international trip.

Our rooms were on the fifth floor next to each other, one was half the size of the other. The rooms were clean and modern (perhaps recently renovated) however they still had old world charm with wood beams and tight spaces. The rooms were small, but that’s expected in a small hotel in Rome.  To access the fifth floor, there were the windy stairs or a very the small two persons lift that was attached to the outside of the building.  Both of our rooms were connected outside by a small balcony that hung over the street below and had views of the rooflines and church domes. 

Breakfast each morning in the common room was tight with tables close to each other, but the food was good and plentiful.

The location of the hotel is perfect with the Pantheon was just one block away, 15 minute walk to the Coliseum and Forum, 8 minutes to the Trevi Fountain and 10 minutes to Piazza Navona. 

Overall, this boutique hotel feels more like a B&B with a great staff providing personalize service.  The rooms, hallways, stairs and lift are compact which just adds to the unique character of this perfect home base for a Rome getaway.
