Great! friendly staff. excellent cleanliness. essential rooms with a nice bathroom. A real Mid-European hostel with large common areas. strategic area to move to Turin. highly recommended! TripAdvisor requires you to write at least 200 characters :) but.pensondinaver said everything.

I highly recommend it.

Great little hotel. I picked this place because of the reviews and was not disappointed. The staff are kind and thoughtful, and I appreciated all of my interactions. It's a simple little hotel in a good location for wandering the city. San Salvario (the neighborhood) is better for the evenings, with not much to write home about in the day time, but there are dozens of restaurants within blocks. It's about 15 mins to Piazza Castello (sort of tourist center of the city), and the walk is largely pleasant. The room (I had a room with private bath and a queen bed) was comfortable and a nice size. I did not see the dorm so cannot comment on that. I gave it 5 stars based on price-range, so note that this is not a "5 star hotel", it's a great budget option. 

Definitely recommended

In the heart of the 18th-century San Salverio district, a few steps from the station, this place is particularly welcoming. I particularly appreciated the possibility of finding always available water without having to worry about times and to be able to buy it. The fact that I don't have to scramble in the bag to look for keys because I just need to remember 4 numbers to access the room and the facility. The possibility of an available kitchen is that you can leave with clean clothes in the suitcase because you can wash them directly there in a short time. Kindness is the availability of the staff. The possibility of leaving the suitcase in custody if you arrive early or if you leave later than the free time. The cleanliness of the laundry room. The communes and books and games are available to be used quietly. Didn't I find the neighborhood quiet?

Good experience

Under 10 mins walk for the train station, lots of supermarkets and mini mary’s near by as well as plenty of bars and restaurants. The staff where very friendly and helpful and the facilities where very good, clean and well maintained. I could of done with an extra sheet for my bed as it was a bit too cold with the air con on but apart from that not a lot of complain about.

Good crash pad

The accommodation and service offered far exceeds the price of the room! Great for families and young people. Congratulations! (August 2023)

A hostel to recommend!

Ideal location, cozy, serene and welcoming atmosphere, informal, entrance and exit in complete autonomy, use of coffee shop in autonomy, very friendly staff, single room with bathroom and air conditioning, very good prices.

Very positive stay in San Salvario, Turin

A nice place to rest and relax: essential yet elegant rooms, welcoming and clean environments, very kind staff. A truly serene stay that helped me to enjoy my holiday in Turin better!

A cozy and serene place!

My stay here was absolutely perfect for 2 nights in Turin. Staff were so accommodating to me as I had an interview they helped me upgrade to a private room so I’d have a quiet space to take the call. The reception staff were so friendly and very helpful at giving recommendations. As a solo traveler I felt safe and spaces were clean and really pretty. Also really great location surrounded by lovely bars and restaurants would 100% recommend - thank you!

Staff and location

The hotel is small but very well located. Approximately 900 meters from the Porta Nova station. There are several bars and places to eat in the vicinity, which makes it a little noisy at night. The hotel staff were super friendly, during the night there was no reception. The only drawback was that during the second night it was very hot in the room and we did not have the control to take in the air. Since there was no reception, we did not supervise anyone to ask. Opening the window was not an option because there was a lot of noise on the street.

Good location and service.

Loved staying for 4 nights at Tomato Backpackers when I was in Turin. Loved the location close to the train station and Valentino park, plus lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. I loved the downstairs space to be able to work online and WIFI was fantastic. Great to have my morning coffee and cake with a shared kitchen available to use anytime. Tom was always really helpful with all my questions and made my stay very comfortable. It felt like home and can't wait to return oe day!! Thank you for everything and keep up the good work...your place is the best!! :))
