Very central location, convenient for those arriving by train and good price given the average prices in the area. But for the rest it would be all over again... to give a set up to the room and especially to the bathroom, which besides being very small (it is also difficult to turn around) is also quite unpainted. Pretty clean even if a little dusty. I don't think I would go back.

Very clean and quiet

A fixed TV on a tele-selling channel. booked at 70€ per day once you ask them 5€ per day in addition to the stay fee without being registered, received on a leaflet without numbering and therefore not valid for tax purposes. no internet signal. clean and central, but with 75€ per day without receipt you can find better!

Never again.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this B&B for two nights, where we had a good time. The owners were very kind and available, the room was very cozy and clean but a little small, especially the bathroom.

Escape to Turin

B&B located in an ideal location, just a few steps from Torino Porta Nuova station and in the center, small bathroom but spacious room, the lady who runs the B&B is kind and available.

La Casa Cavour is very well located, in an old and beautiful building!! I read some complaining comments about the breakfast time that is offered in a café next door... people experience that the breakfast is only a few hundred meters away. The shopping street Via Garibaldi is a little further away, but not far away. Next door you will find a bakery, with all kinds of Italian delicacies and bread... and the famous coffee cappuccino! don't forget it! Well situated, but a little careless.

The Casa Cavour is very well located, in a beautiful ancient building!! You can reach almost all the interesting sites to see by foot. The Egyptian Museum lies just hundreds meters away. The shopping street "Via Garibaldi" is a bit further, but not far. Next door to you can find a wonderful bakery, with all sorts of italian delicatessen and breads.... and the famous capuccino!! Don't miss this!!

I've read some complaining comentaries about the beakfast wich is offered in a café next door... people complained that the breakfast was poor, just a coffee/capuccino and some croissant or brioche... well, this is the italian breakfast!! They eat just this in the morning!! I've been in Rome and Milano several times visiting my sister-in-law and this is the way italians take the breakfast! So, if you want and need a great and complete buffet for the breakfast, go to a traditional hotel!!

Alberto has welcomed us with a smile and gently leaded us until the underground parking, just couple blocks away. He was very helpful explaining and showing us the directions.
We've been told that the price of this parking was 12€ per day, instead 15€... as we stayed 2 days, we expected to pay around 28, 30€. But for our surprise, the pice was 52€ for a bit more than 48h!!!

The B&B Casa Cavour is quiet, not to big, confrotable bed, clean sheets and towels, nicely decorated...only the bathroom is very small... if you make more than 1,75m you'll have problems.

During our stay it was very hot, but the fan solved the problem. We missed some hooks, a place to put our wet towels to dry... we didn't find a place to hang them openned...
In general, the B&B is satisfactory... clean, but it was quite dusty, 'cause I think they cleaned it after the last guest and let it closed for some time and didin't check if it everything was right before our arrival... Just a fast vacumm would make all the difference!

For me, this experience was "OK", but next time visiting Turin, we'll try somewhere else.

Well located, but a bit neglected

I did not choose this b&b;  I was referred while in transit because the b&b I had booked in Turin (well in advance) was undergoing emergency repairs.  For various reasons we had little choice but to accept the referral.  This was our last night in Europe, with a long-haul flight ahead, so we were keen that we should go out in style - and we did.  Casa Cavour is a one-room b&b in an historic building in an attractive part of the city:  close to Porta Susa station, upmarket shops including Diesel, and a fantastic wine bar around the corner.  Our host, Ilaria, was perfectly accommodating although she did not meet us when we arrived - indeed we never met her - and other arrangements had to be made to get the key to our room.  The room was small, dark and elaborately decorated (some would think stylishly, others would find it intimidating) in a modern Baroque-Gothic manner.  The king-sized bed was very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep (thank heavens).  The major problem was the even-smaller, very clean bathroom, which was fitted out with ultra-modern appliances.  This did not dispel the fact that the shower recess was untenable:  you literally could not move in it, or even turn around - and we are not fat people, or disabled.  The steps up to it were narrow, awkward and slippery:  in short, very dangerous; so much so that I had to be helped out of the shower.  Breakfast was via a voucher in a little cafe a couple of doors down - it seemed fine but we had to rush it.  All in all, a good location and clean; suitable for a brief stay if you are willing to risk or go without the shower.  In those circumstances 80Eu p.n. might seem a bit steep ...
