The reception was perfect. The owner is adorable, he even made an effort to speak to us in French. The location is ideal, right in the centre of Venice, thank you again! The rooms are simple but very friendly.

Perfect.

The room is very small but to make a very short stay you can go. The cleaning is not the best, the room has carpets, not the advice to allergic people. Unfortunately we had serious problems with the renter, an arrogant and indisposed person even though at first glance it seemed cozy. The services guaranteed by the booking worked halfway: the wifi takes out of the room, the bathroom window was broken and to see the signs not long ago (we were also accused of having broken it), for the room we called the owner to have us carry it because he was not present in the room as opposed to what was in the booking.

Early departure for poor room management

The positive point: very well located in the Cannareggio. This room is very small for 2 and dark (window to the wall opposite). 2 small twin beds of 90. Comfortable and clean bunk bed. Renovated and clean bathroom.

Santa Lucia room for 2 people

The host isn't very arranging (a lot of rules to follow when it's not even up to a hotel height) The location and location is perfect, a good neighborhood.

nice place but not much better to do

We spent five nights and we were delighted to have a view of a canal, away from the crowd, an old, clean, quiet decor room, private bathroom on the floor, access to a kitchen for breakfast.

It's a great stay.

My boyfriend and I were on the 4th floor of a building a few steps from the headquarters of the Casa Orfeo. A room I recommend to young people, since they are more adaptable and can do 4 floors of stairs on foot and with suitcases without any problem, since there is no elevator. The room is small with an interior bathroom where there is no bidet. The cleaning is yours, in the sense that no one will enter your room until you have to leave.

It's a great location!

Located on the edge of a canal in a typical Venetian neighborhood 10 minutes from St. Mark's Square. Very friendly welcome. The room is in an apartment with two rooms. The room we occupy has toilets. Possibility to use the kitchen for breakfast.

very well located and very welcoming

The quality/price ratio is excellent. Large room furnished in a liberty style and with exclusive use of the bathroom. For those who want to fully enjoy the innumerable artistic riches of Venice the ca' Orfeo has an enviable position. The room was quiet with a suggestive view on a canal. The owner was friendly and available also helping us to quickly ship the personal items that we had forgotten in the room after our departure.

Strategic position and good value for money.

The owner of the structure is a kind gentleman but he does not have the culture (or does not want to have it) of the tourist reception. We slept in a store room where there were furniture stalls and two single beds like an egg. Everything was poor: the blankets, the lighting, the towels. There is no real problem of cleaning but the rooms are not airy. It seemed that the owner lacked the right sensibility and in fact with little the environments would be much more welcoming. The problem is always the same: in no city would it be possible to propose such a structure but in Venice, so as not to spend too much, everything becomes possible. And finally, for 3 nights, in fact, we slept without any exuberance anyway.

Television not working, internet impossible (but perhaps a misunderstanding in reading the information), difficult location, obvious lack of writing particularly important in Venice given the city's configuration and strange civic numbers
