Morioka

Stayed for 2 nights. Hotel is located very close to JR station. Minimal noise is heard from room. There are several car rental companies next to hotel for those wanting to rent a car to move around the region.

The hotel is frequented by business travelers and gets very busy in the morning. 

The free buffet breakfast is acceptable and of reasonable quality. There are many food options within walking distance of hotel. The hotel also have a simple dinner plan during weekdays for those who do not want to venture out. 

There is a surcharge for overnight parking if you driving. The rooms are of standard Hotel Route Inn deliverables. We normally booked the Twin or Double for slightly more room space. The toilets tend to be small since they are built in cabins. 

Overall great and clean hotel to stay in a central location.

Great Location

This is my second stay in this hotel this year. The room is not spacious but clean and well equipped. Free coffee is provided all day in the lobby. The included buffet breakfast has many choices - though not luxurious but adequate. I recommend guests staying for two nights or more consider taking on its eco plan, under which the room will not be cleaned, but the towels will still be changed and waste basket cleared. In return, each guest is awarded a free beer each day. I recommend this because there is really not much to clean, especially as guests may take their daily bath in the onsen, which the hotel provides. 

Comfortable and convenient 

This is an ideal hotel for pleasure (me) or business (others); in the center of city walking distance to almost everything; at least everything I wanted to visit.
Modern with very helpful staff.  Rooms are well appointed.

GREAT LOCTAION  - ACROSS FROM SHIN STATION

At very conveniently located very close to Morioka station. Room was clean, larger because I had twin bed room than typical "business" hotels in Japan but still very tight. Bath room is very small as usual but I 5 11" or 179cm could get in a bath tub. Amenity is good and they have night robe or Yukita, saver, touch brash. The hotel has not bar abut Izakaya type restaurant. However, there are plenty of places in walking distance. I will stay there again if I go to Morioka for business again.

The room is a bit small. That said, I admit I regard any room less than 20 sq m as too small. The room is well-equipped. The design is modern, furnishings are attractive , the room is brightly lit, air-conditioning works, the bed is firm and supportive. The onsen on the top floor is free to guests and there is free coffee in the lobby 24 hours. The buffer breakfast provides a lot of choices, though mainly Japanese in style. The location is super, just a few minutes’ walk from the south exit of the train station. Above all, the prices are very reasonable - excellent value for money. 

Excellent value for value 

We (2 adults and 2 kids, 5 and 8 years old) stayed one night here, booked 2 rooms. The room was small but good enough to fit 1 adult + 1 kid. Facilitated with basic needs in room with public onsen. Nice breakfast and coffee provided. Just 2 min walking distance from Morioka Station. 
Value for money. Recommend.

Convenient for short stay

Simple and clean hotel. Just out of Morioka station and you will see the tall Route-Inn hotel building on your right. Front desk staff can understand simple English. Check-in is strictly at 3pm

Onsen is available in the hotel. Breakfast is buffet style n OK

Decent n clean hotel

We have chosen this hotel for its location on the Tohoku shinkansen line. This charming hotel has good Japanese standard rooms, not so small as this, with everything you need in a room, large TV, refrigerator, boiler with green rhee provided...prefer twin rooms, larger. But we are staying in a double room, the bed is very comfortable. Very good breakfast down the street, non-alcoholic welcome drink to choose from the distributor, and a spa on the top floor where you can meet Japanese. A very good quality price, located at the shinkansen, at the Akita (Festival Kanto) and Abuta (Return to the station) where you can attend a train, which is a full hour late, and a very good price ratio.

Loved this hotel watched my favorite Shinkensens coming in to the station  from our hotel window rooms were very clean nicely decorated  enjoyed our stay will go back again if in the area . Breakfast was ok   included in nightly  charge. very scenic area staff also very nice.

Nice hotel

Easy to find.  Walk out their railway station door, look 45 degrees to your right and that's the hotel.
Again staff were friendly and assisted us with several enquiries even though they had issues with English and our Japanese was also very problamatic.
Rooms were clean and tidy.  Bathrooms are small but they on site Onsens make up for this.
Will continue to use them Route Inn chain.
