The hotel stands oceanfront and great ocean view from room.
Our room has balcony with private hot spa.
The kaiseki style dinner and the buffet style breakfast was also great.
The stuff is very friendly.
I highly recommended this hotel for couple, family.

Great hotel and wonderful view from oceanfront room

Our room faced the ocean, and had a private hot-tub on the balcony. We were served tea immediately upon entering our room, followed by a great private dinner in the evening. Futons on tatami were very comfortable. I realize it's rural Japan, and probably few foreign tourists such as myself, but I thought this hotel was excellent value! A large, clean Japanese style room, facing the ocean!, with a great kaiseki dinner in a private room with our travelling guests, for not that high of a charge. Staff were friendly and helpful (our friend was able to converse in Japanese). If you're in this area than I highly recommend this hotel!

Waterfront room and great meal!

I stayed in this Ryokan style hotel during April 2016.  I have a very good room which has a sea view.  When you walk down to the beach side you will see the place  where you can put your feet in the hot water pond to sooth your heal.  At the same time this hot water pond has a good view to the sea with some garden nearby.  When you go to the room you will have you own onsen.  But the most highlight is what you will have for a perfect dinner which is full course very high quality foods. I bet it will be rarely to find in any Ryokan style hotel.  This hotel located in the famouse sea salmon fishery. You will always get a very fresh sashimi and sea urchin.

You will never believe what they can provide you for a dinner

The hotel is a modern ryokan, that is, a traditional Japanese posada in a giant hotel. So, from the attention, to the decoration, the facilities (onsen, karaoke room, souvenir shop, etc.) and the food, it's all typically Japanese. It's a very good experience staying in one of these hotels, but it should be noted that in Japanese rooms you sleep on the floor and that there are a number of rules - with the dress and schedules - to follow. Also, normally considering that the staff doesn't speak English, which is very difficult to understand. It's a very large ryokan and the types of facilities and decor they have. This is a very good Japanese hotel, on the perfect beach to see the pleasures (which we didn't see during the winter months, and that the hotel's facilities are not very good), but it's worth noting that the hotel's facilities are very large, and the rooms are very comfortable, and the rooms are very spacious, but the hotel's facilities are very comfortable, and the rooms are very spacious, and the rooms are very comfortable, and the rooms are very comfortable to

 It's worth the experience

Stayed here during Murakami Triathlon, the hotel let us keep our bikes in our rooms and were in tune with what was going on with the triathlon. All the rooms seem to face the ocean and have great views, we had a room with a bath on the balcony and it was lovely to sit in that and watch the sunset. The public onsen was fantastic too, we all went there post race to relax and get cleaned up. This hotel is good value for money as the room rate includes breakfast and dinner and we have stayed here the last two years for the triathlon and will most certainly stay here again in 2014.

Room With a View

A group of us stayed at Taikanso for the Murakami Triathlon in September. The hotel picked us up from Murakami Station, free of charge. This location was very convenient to the start of the triathlon, but the staff also knew what the triathletes needed and was very relaxed about us unpacking the bikes in their lobby while we waited for our rooms to be ready. They also prepared a private room for dinner for our group and was very accommodating to all our needs. My husband and I had a room with the private bath outside, which was very nice. I will be back again and recommend this hotel to others!
