I was travelling with an organisation, I did not choose this hotel myself. 

The location is really good. Close to Okayama trainstation and a lot of places for shopping and drinks/food. Okayama castle is only 15 min away.

For European standards, the room is small. But I think it is ok by Japanese standards. There was not much room for two bags. There was also a minifridge and a basic airco (you could turn it on more or less by turning a knob). There is no safe for valuables in the room. The bathroom is small too, but it has everything you need. The hotel provides shampoo, bodywas, conditioner, tootbrush and such.

If you don't want them to clean your room, just hang up the card on the door. They will hang a bag with towels and such on the doorknob.

I didn't use any special services and I always went out for breakfast and dinner. I did miss a nice lounge area, where you can sit a bit. As you don't want to relax in the bedroom all the time. Or maybe I just couldn't find it, because my Japanese is not that good... 

You can get a complementary tea or coffee at te reception area.

I recommend a stay at this hotel.


Nice hotel, very central location

it is located about 10 minutes walk from Okayama Station. check-in was simple and staffs were friendly. room was clean and they even included a simple breakfast which i didn't even know was available. so that was good. there is a tram station nearby making it easy to explore the city.

Clean and Good Hotel

Good location. Walk distance to train station. Big and clean rooms. Breakfast is not good enough. Internet connection was poor. Tv remote control unit totally japanese. If prices not good enough you can search other options. 

Clean and good location 

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night in March. The weather was cold outside (about 15 celcius). I understand that they turned the heater on in the building but my room was so hot. I couldn’t adjust the air temperature in my room because the aircon system was from the control room. The building technicians already went home so the receptionist told me to open the window. I did that but I couldn’t sleep because there was noise from outside. Then I thought I just need a fan a least, I found the humidifier in the room, I turned it on and it made some cool wind. Great! I used it as a fan for whole night. 

Breakfast is ok, not variety as I thought. There were only bread and juice that I could eat but their bread was delicious.

Other than that room was clean, friendly staff, good location and it was really cheap.

Good but don’t like the aircon system

The good: Not far from Okayama station, about 7 min walk. Clean, staff efficient, no frills. Continental breakfast quite decent considering it's free for everyone. Freshly baked croissants.

The bad: Old. Room's small (typical of Japan). Can hear car racing outside on a friday night even on 9th floor.

Typical Japanese Business Hotel

I stayed here for several nights and got quite used to the place, especially the morning smell of freshly baked bread that permeates the lower floors. They bake - or at least, re-heat, their own bread.

Very convenient location on the main road coming out from the station and heading towards Korakuen Garden. Easy to find, too. Convenience store just underneath. Several restaurants in the immediate area.

Trouble-free, fairly friendly check in. Fairly spacious single room. All the facilities you would expect.

And then there was breakfast. All that yummy bread. It did get a bit repetitive after a few days, but certainly a cut above most business hotel breakfasat in Japan

Good location for a short stay

I've stayed in lots of hotels in Japan and this one was quite good. Was here 4 nights and very comfortable. My room faced the street but no noise as double windows  and screens to block light. You can also open windows for fresh air. Only noise was from people in corridor. Lifts fine. Bed comfortable but no amenities provided in room but ask. Bed lamp so that you can read in bed was a big plus and this is not common. Fridge, hair dryer, tv Japanese only,  etc.
Asked for foam pillow and delivered on request. Had a problem with the kettle as it did not switch off automatically & plastic was very hot to touch & when I reported it they replaced it immediately and apologized.
Good location as 10 minutes to station, shops, restaurants all around. Buses and street cars on street. Simple breakfast provided.
Only thing is there are no signs at street level for the hotel, so if you get to the canal, go back to where you there are escalators to go to reception on level 2 or elevator at street level to take you up.
Recommended.

Comfortable hotel, great location.

It was an old hotel not very far from the train station. Apparently not really a hotel for tourists but rather for workers. Neutral staff. It was cold and despite this the heating only worked from 5 p.m.

The hotel is clean, nice, cozy, the room is normal size, I had a great view from the windows in Okayama, a TV (the only hotel where I watched TV), a fan and even an electric kettle. The breakfast was delicious, but quite ordinary: buns, croissants, juice, tea, rice, sausages, eggs... the buffet is located on the 2nd floor. The hotel is conveniently located. It is a 5-7 minute walk from Okayama railway station. Come out of the station. You will see a large fountain in the shape of a blue ball and walk straight. (You need a vertical view of the kayak.
