We stayed for 1.5 months on the 11 floor facing the Tokyo Tower and Zozoji Trmple. Incredibly nice view with no high rise obstructing, thanks to the low rise temple and large beautiful garden/park

Our renovated apartment was very nice other than the furniture which could be upgraded considering the price.

Very friendly and attentive staff 

Breakfast could be more exciting...

Small but good gym. If pool was open it would have been very nice



A room with a view

Best think is the location, it is just opposite of Tokyo Tower. I enjoyed Indian food just next to the apartment and other western cafes with pizza. Also there were English book stores where you can english novels.
Staff is very polite and will always be ready to help.

Comfortable stay

I am writing this halfway thorugh my business stay at The Somerset Azabu East.

The hotel/apartment is located between 2 train station, the nearest being Akabanebashi (E21) Oedo line, a 5 minutes walk when you exit and turn left of the hotel and the other being at being H05 Kamiyacho, a 10 minutes walk when you exit and turn right of the apartment. The apartment is 14 storey and has a roof top BBQ area. Depending on the room you stay, you may have a partial view of the Tokyo tower which is just right behind. The area is a business area and is relatively peaceful during the evening and weekends. Something one may treasure if you require peaceful resting time.There is a supermarket just next to the apartment, a barber just opposite and some small eateries within 5-7 minutes walk depending on where you go.

I stay in a one bed room studio with my wife and daughter. The default bed provided is queen size and accommodate 2 asian size adults. You will require an additional bed which is chargeable if you have a child with you. The additional bed though is rather uncomfortable and will have to be placed in the living area instead, which can hinder you as you go with your daily life. The internet connection is stable and exclusive to your room. A small kitchen area allows some form of basic cooking and utensils are provided, you may have to get your own knife and scissor. A small fridge is also provided and a microwave is placed on top of it. The fridge thankfully is a quiet one when the compressor kicks in, so you do not have to worry.

The bathroom is attached to the laundry room but you will have to dry your clothes with the built in dryer unless you can find a way to dry your clothes. One may want to beware that dryer may shrink your clothes. You will also have to get your own supply of washing detergent if you are staying beyond a week. 

The housekeeping comes once a week and does a relatively good job to replace the towels and clean the room. Toilet paper is also restocked.

The breakfast area is at level 1. The selection is available daily but very limited to basic bread, spread and juice.

The staffing team is helpful and will assist you to their best to solve your issues, they speak and understand English.

Overall i find the stay still acceptable.

70 Days Business Stay

The place is really awesome. The staffs are very accomodating, they can speak in English. The amenities are really great. they have a nice room, rooftop *overlooking of the nice tokyo tower*, gym. The place is also near train stations and offices and tokyo tower.

Somerset Azabu East Tokyo is the place to stay

We stayed here for almost 3 months...All the staff is friendly and very helpful. The guest service is excellent. Room was clean and spacious. Good location and staff speak very good English too. We will definitely come back...highly recommended!

Recommended!

It is one of the few accommodations in Tokyo that offers, including in the price, a small continental breakfast, fitness room and swimming pool (all great). The accommodation is a very quiet mini-apartment, with room separated by a curtain from the living area, living area about 20 square meters, with a sofa-bed and cooking corner (3 people can sit comfortably), bathroom and laundry area. It is really large compared to the average Japanese rooms. There is no internet point. The building is adjacent to the Tokyo Tower (it is in the area of the embassies), 400 meters from the subway, and in 10 minutes you can walk to the Roppongi area. Very friendly and available.

Positive points: No disappointment compared to what was announced at the time of booking: however, we contacted the hotel for a large studio in Shinzooka with an elevated room separated from the living room; studio equipped: (very small) dishwasher (because the hotel does not provide it), washing machine (the hotel provides 2 washing doses), TV, etc. After booking, we contacted the hotel for a high-rise room in Shinzooka and we looked at the eleventh floor with a full view of the Tokyo Tower which is literally behind the hotel.

Perfect for a family stay

We stayed at the end of July in a first studio for 12000 yen overnight (+1050 surprise tax added at the end of the stay) with a light breakfast (free). The residence is located in an expatriate area, right next to Tokyo Tower at Akabanebashi Station (shinjuku line passing through Roppongi). There are clean restaurants walking to Azabu Juban or to Kamiyacho metro. The supermarket right next to the residence is very well provided, there are good dishes prepared. The studio was huge, super clean, with a spacious room that could be separated by a curtain. The kitchen was very well equipped and very clean. There was even a dishwasher and washing machine for both breakfast (the kitchen was very convenient), the kitchen was very clean, and the kitchen was very comfortable, with a very small kitchen table, and the kitchen was very comfortable with a very small kitchen table, and the kitchen was very comfortable with a very small kitchen table, and the kitchen was very comfortable with a very small kitchen table.
