We were welcoming, we were allowed to settle in early. A cozy and spacious room, new furniture and equipment. A beautiful view from the window. The choice of hotels in Augusta is small. We had to pay $100 for a night without breakfast. The hotel turned out to be good, but provided we just had to stay overnight, it turned out to be quite expensive for us.

Club of 1934

It was a big deal for OGRE, which translates to a giant hotel, because it's a big hotel, and there's no alternative in the city.

Next to the Giant

My wife and I along with about 40 of our friends stayed in the hotel for 5 days for our annual conference. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The hotel is located on the outside of Ogre directly at the exit of the main road in an industrial area but is very quiet and highly recommended. The staff is friendly and speaks English.

Excellent accommodation at good value

The hotel is typical of the former Soviet Union, rooms are very spacious, Wi-Fi, staff available who speak very good English, good breakfast but not exceptional, 35 km from the capital Rrga.

The austere Soviet style

Good and large hotel with spacious rooms, the junior suite is very large even at price levels. The hotel is located on the outside of Ogre directly at the exit of the main road in an industrial area but is very quiet and highly recommended. The staff is friendly and speaks english. Breakfast is only possible with enough guests but because there is a kitchenette in the rooms is there is no problem. Several supermarkets and shops are nearby. Great for a visit to the golden triangle and Riga. Wifi internet is available in the hotel

Good Hotel

We stayed in this hotel three times. We stayed in all rooms:-) In standard rooms, in semi-luxury and in luxury-class apartments. The price is excellent. From the centre of Riga 25 minutes by car. Very convenient to go to LIDO at 11am for breakfast/lunch, the one with the mill (Riga, Krasta str. 76).

Let's go back again!

The hotel is renovated and therefore clean and very good furnished. We book it also every time we have guests visiting our company, if the guests need the hotel only for overnight stay. If there is more free time in the evenings and you are looking for more attractions around hotel, you better book a hotel in Riga old town. City Ogre with population 30 000 people offers also few attractions, but it is difficult to compete with capital city that is only 30km from Ogre.
It is a good choice if you travel by car and need an overnight stay near Riga.
