Stayed at the hotel about 3 weeks ago. There is a strange, not good  feeling you get as soon as you step in at  the lobby area.   Guess for a reason and you will soon find out.   Owner's standing in the middle of the restaurant, impersonal, unfriendly with a solemn face,  lost in his paperwork..  He won't   make any eye contact till the time rest is about to   close and will make the effort  to wave (!!) At you   to get lost.. prob does not  realising you're paying him expensive rates for the (bad) service you receive   and he's not doing you any favour..   much better places to stay in close proximity..

Better stay elsewhere

Stayed at this place 2 days ago. We were charged for a double room  50euro room only, when you can find better hotels much closer to Ifaty around 17 euro BB. Owner was unfriendly and arrogant, some of the staff were nice but still under his influence. No basic things like directions to the bangalows (you will find yourself wandering  in the night trying to get your way around), electricity went off at 11pm.  ee were then  in absolute dark banging from wall to wall. No wi-fi in the room.  We found  ourselves  quite  distressed in the morning trying to get out as soon as possible. Had to  keep our strength though as we  still had to find our way to the lobby area and deal with the same unfrienfly people. All in all we nail down our  trip to the island as  a wonderful experience with a lot  of highlights except of this one..

Not recommended

Stayed by myself for 3 nights. The new owner (owns this place less than a year) is an older french gentleman Daniel - not very friendly, did not even greet my guide, not really involved with guest experiences. The price quoted by booking.com did not match the total price in local currency as the owner set such a rediculous exchange rate and no cards are accepted. Bungalos are old, look better from outside, no simple things like hand towels or shampoo, very dark inside, no real glass windows or mosquito net on the windows, so you either sleep with open windows and attract morning light and multiple mosquitos all night long or with windows shut and wake up in complete darkness. Diving (takes place at a different location 15 mins by car)  was a disaster - a partner of Daniel’s - also 60+ year old guy Tiery, a dive instructor, abandoned me at 20 meters depth for 5 minutes while went on exploring himself, barely ascended slowly, i smelled alcohol from him when we finally got to the shore. Very unpleasant and unsafe experience. The beach is pretty but the ocean is not swimable -tide off during the day and lots of sea weeds and stones in the water so you can go into the water up to mid-thigh most of the time and no way you can ever swim there. Finally there is no vibe to the place - 80’s music at dinner, the owner is always in the common area watching something on tv by himself. No one speaks english excepr for owner’s wife but she makes no decisions and runs everything by her husband. This place has a great potential location- and view-wise  but unfriendly and stiff management ruined its charm. Would not recommend staying here.

We couldn’t fault it here! Such a wonderful place to visit and the staff made sure we had everything we could want! The beaches are amazing and the activities that the staff helped with were incredible! Would highly recommend it!!!

Amazing Place!

This place is an absolute dream! There's no other way to describe it! The beach is pristine! The bungalows are huge, modern, have hot water and extremely comfy bed! Management and staff will do everything they can to make your time with them perfect! And sky and benji the dogs will bring the biggest smile to your face if you want to play with them on the beach! Great food and WiFi in the restaurant! Range of drinks in the bar with drinks you'd only really find at home! The place also has so many opportunities to go out on a pirogue, diving, snorkeling, to the spiny forest reserve, kite surfing and quad biking! What more could you want? Thanks so much for having us!

Paradise!! No other word! 🏖 🐠☀

We had planned to stay a few days with the family and we left the same day. The Most Location, Magnificent View, Lovely Staff (in this case a Malagasy lady and the smile of the chef) The Boss's open mind and his ability to question what is rare in the Les Moins hotel, Bungalows that require a refreshment The quality of laundry and bedding The Boss who is really unpleasant and who is on what is not feasible.

It's hard work.

Two weeks of unforgettable vacation. Beautiful setting, very good meals,.... and especially this quiet place where you feel calm and rested. For the boat ride and the dive, a completely different story because I can't swim, even with the life jacket,.... Hihihi! Finally the crocodiles, wow!

The Paradise

Two nights of family in a dream setting... the hotel situation is wonderful. It's a pity that the hostess' reception leaves desirable, not too kind especially towards her staff.

We stayed for a night at this hotel, we were given the familiar bungalow, very large but a little decadent, the lack of maintenance. The uncomfortable beds, as well as the pillows (in all the hotels we were in, from good to bad, the pillows are bad). The beach where the bungalows are located is nothing special. The common area, a little left and a lack of a little cleaning. The dinner and breakfast are correct.

SUPER CHOUETTE! Two small bungalows on the beach, spectacular sea views, the setting is splendid, the owners are under little care, the meals are delicious. The bed was top comfort! The best of our stay in Madagascar (1 month and a half). They even offer sea trips for tubes and masks. In short it is really super cute!!!!!! The little plus; the Croco Park!
