Great Place to stay. Very close to the city but yet it is a good city get away environment around here. Very peaceful and quiet place during the night with nice view at the rooftop balcony. A very clean place to stay.
Mostly, the host and people here are very friendly and helpful.

Relaxing Stay With Nice Night Skyline

We stayed at Desa Gardens for a longer period of time and were very grateful to find this amazing house, surrounded by lush green and flowers in a quiet part of Kuala Lumpur. The land lord designed the house it self and it is has a lovely earthy feel with a great vibe. The rooms are clean as the full house with all you need. Make use of the roof terrace! The view is spectacular, the breeze in the evening refreshing and it makes you feel as on top of the world. 

The house is located in a small side road, nearby the train station Seputeh and all our cab drivers were able to find it easily. Even Tesco delivery worked fine. In the neighbourhood is a great food court walking distance away.  

The land lord helped us every time and we felt very welcomed during our stay. If we ever come back to Kuala Lumpur, this will be our first choice.

Oasis in the city

The room is clean and nicely design and the house is surrounded by gardens. If you have a car will be able to enjoy the neighborhood food stall and convenient shops easily. Very suitable for few months business trip stay.

Nice House in a nice neighbourhood

So, it's fine. Probably quite nice if you are on the upper floors, except that a cab still wouldn't be able to find it. 

Cons
--We were on the ground floor and there were ants ALL OVER our room -- not just a few in the kitchen and bathroom, but all over the table, nightstand, and the first night, there was at least 50 of them on our bedspread. Made sleeping a bit of a challenge. When we told Amy about the ants, she thoroughly cleaned our room for free, which kept them at bay for nearly a day, but, by the day after that, they were back. And because cleaning isn't included in the rate, it would have been about $25MYR ($10ish dollars) to have the room cleaned daily, so we just waited it out until we left. Amy also offered us the other room on the ground floor, but it was not nearly as nice, and didn't look quite ready for guests.
--Taxis absolutely cannot find the place, and neither can Google maps (despite our best efforts to teach it). So you cannot order a taxi with the taxi app either. You must walk down to the bottom of the hill to request the taxi, which is tough both if you are in a hurry (which we were, a couple of times), or if it is raining out (which it sometimes was). On our way there the first time, the driver had to call the hotel twice, and speak to one of the managers in Cantonese in order to figure out where to go, and even then we still spent a good 10 minutes lost. It's about a 20-minute walk to the nearest transportation hub, and it will almost always require a transfer, so it takes quite a bit of time to do things that way too.
--We were woken up by construction noise one day, and the noise was so loud that it kind of made your ears hurt in the apartment all day, no way to dampen it enough to be able to stay in the room.

Pros
--The kitchen was well stocked with all the supplies needed for cooking, and to boil your water. Amy also gave us a big container of drinking water for free. 
--The views from the top are pretty incredible.
--GREAT internet, some of the best of the trip.

Meh
--The bathroom was nice, once we knocked the ants off of our toothbrushes. But the hot water did not last through leg shaving, fine for regular showers though.
-- There appeared to be a rooftop, but it was locked?

OVERALL -- recommend it ONLY for people who already know their way around KL or have a car. And even then, be certain that you can stay on the second floor, which should help with both the ants and the construction.
