I walked into this hostel purely because it was close, and it was the best decision I could have made!!! It was clean and comfortable with complimentary coffee in a convenient location not far from the Dutch square and Jonker street market.  The hosts went above and beyond to ensure I had a great trip; recommending restaurants in the area as well as activities in other places I intended to visit and even giving me a lift to the bus station after I completed my stay.  Overall the low price of this hostel was incredible considering the quality of my stay and I intend to return here when I next visit Melaka.  Thank you for everything!! 

Great location, very clean, fantastic company, and amazing recommendations.

The ground floor windows and door all have bars. 

The electrical switch to open the locked barred door from the inside is temperamental. You need to press it many times before it eventually works. I mentioned this to the duty manager and he agreed it was defective.

The back door is blocked by a washing machine.

Stay elsewhere if you value your life.
 

Disaster waiting to happen

I picked this place purely based on its name and I didn’t regret it at all.  All check in instructions were clear.  We booked one of the private rooms and it was really spacious. The high window in the bathroom couldn’t close which meant the rain came in which made the floor a little slippery but it really wasn’t a huge issue.  A great hawker centre across the road was handy and it was an enjoyable walk along the river to the centre.  Guests also have access to a washing machine which is always a bonus. 

Chilled stay and great location 

If you or your friends are looking for some place to stay in Melaka, this is the one you want to stay.
Me and my friend visited in Melaka for the first time and we really enjoyed sightseeing this beautiful historical city. We stayed here about a week and we really felt like it's our home.  bedrooms and all the shower and bathrooms are clean. A/C and hot shower was really nice too.
And kitchen is nice and organized, also they got some bread, cereals,coffee and tea so we can always help ourselves especially after having hungover!  
And the people in the guesthouse was amazing!!! So fun, kind,care about the guest all the time and knows everything in the city!
This is the biggest reason we stayed a week and had really great time in here.
If we didn't stay here, it wouldn't be this much fun and satisfied much.

So thank you so much! You made our trip very special and unforgettable!!!
We will come back!!

Perfect paradise

Good price/performance ratio - we had booked the private room with private bathroom. The room is very large, the floor mattress is comfortable and it even has air conditioning and hot water. It is a private house in a residential area, on the opposite side is a small open food market. To centre it is about 10 minutes walk. Velos can be borrowed free of charge. We got super food tips from the hostess. We would book the accommodation again.

Top start in Malaysia

We arrived before check-in time, it was no problem our room was ready. It is a guest house especially with dormitories, the double room is large with a very good bed. The nights are very quiet as well as the mornings.

Super guest house very quiet and pleasant

Cozy location. Gentle staff, available. Clean room, equipped with the necessary amenities. Good Wi-Fi. Good location (you can reach the centre in 10 minutes on foot). Good quality ratio - good price.

Good accommodation

The reception is quite right. We had booked the family room with a king size bed and it was nicely decorated. It was clean but if we briefly saw a small cockroach in the evening. The geographical situation is ideal: 5 minutes' walk from the hypercentre in a quiet street.

Nice hostel and well located

Stayed at this very friendly guesthouse for 3 nights recently. Nice ensuite double room, good size with balcony. Washing machine appreciated. Breakfast facilities. Good location near river walkway in to town centre ( 10 mins) Michelle is a great host, and even taxied us to bus station on our departure (20 mins).  Owners also operate Reggae Bar riverside in town. Great location with atmosphere and Happy Hour prices.

All humming at 3 little birds

This is a pleasant small hostel in a good location for exploring melaka on foot. We booked the double room, which is spacious and was quiet (we are definitely not the sort who would want to stay in a party hostel!). There is a kitchen and living room downstairs (it's a converted house). The whole place reminded me of a student house: sparsely furnished, but functional. A few bits and pieces were broken, but nothing important. This place is good value for money and the staff (backpackers employed as such) were all very helpful. It's only a few minutes walk to the historic town centre and there are good places to eat nearby.
