After almost a month in Malaysia our last stop was Melaka and we got very little money left. We found this GuestHouse and besides being the cheapest we've ever slept in (30 ringgits double room, divided between the two we're staying in 15 ringgits per person which is about 3€!!) it's super nice! Everything nearby stays, this wall of art is full, the people are huge and for a short while they've left us a few more tickets than in the guesthouse for FREE. The worst thing to say in any way is that in the bathroom there's no quick to clean with precision (no if I'll explain) but everything else is compensated, and a lot. Hashim is the owner and it's super friendly and comparatively nice, we've tried and tried to make our last few days in the beautiful country.

It's a very cheap good.

First and last for me. Even is one of the cheapest (not the only) I think there is no excuse for the lack of attention to keep it clean... i avoid the shower and left the next morning. Love the cat though!

Not going back

Basic and inexpensive guesthouse, double room with shared bathroom and ventilator is just a mattress on the floor for 32 ringgits, it's ugly and smells a little wet, as in all Malaysian guesthouses, if you want AC there are 6 more ringgits. Common areas are best ignored, a living room where the staff is always sleeping and smoking and an incredibly dirty kitchen with bugs. The laundry room is cheap, but they take their time and give you the very dirty clothes. The staff is nice and will help you in whatever you may need. The location is good, five minutes from the center and shopping malls. On the last floor the wifi does not work well.

Basic and cheap.

I was offered common room with all men for only RM12. It's really cheap but I felt uncomfortable. I asked for another room, and the staff told me about RM20 private room but it's really small. After I saw the room, I loved it immediately and took it. No breakfast, but close to everywhere. The staff were nice.

Cheap Private room

The moment step in to this guest's house, its not only dirty, bad smell and the environment are totally not hygiene at all! That's only one rude Bangladeshi worker with a manual record book, when i told him i want to check in with prepaid voucher, he said No, we are full house,we dont have your booking. I only gave rooms base on first come first serve basis. you call my boss, i dont know. That's it. End up my kid and I serching for a room all night on the street!!

Lousy, bad smell, poor service

The guesthouse is cheap, convenient and accessible to all the tourist attractions in Melacca.  It has friendly and accommodating staffs. This place is good for travelling with a tight budget; and to those who wants to save money for the next trip....     

But during my stay, the common area or living area was a bit messy.....

Cheap and accessible location

the only minus was that they had a bit of a water problem, leaking from the roof into the toilet, but otherwise was satisfied with everything else and the price is good. Really nice staff. Big plasma TV in the common area.

extremely nice people

The first thing I'm going to say is: SPORCO. It's really cheap, but it's still better at the same price. If you need an internet connection, forget about it, the owner downloads videos all day long and sucks all that little wifi that's there. The only sink there is microscopic and it doesn't even come out of the water.

That's bad!

The guesthouse is close to the shopping malls and you can reach the historic center on foot in 5 minutes. The location is very good and small restaurants are cheap next door. It is also located near the bus departure to the KL airport. The rooms are simple but clean and the sanitary has done everything right with shower. It is not the great luxury but at the price of 25 MYR it does not ask for the moon. The staff is helpful by taking the time to chat a little with. There is something to take breakfast and a kitchen. Good TV and video do not work. Honestly I will come back here without problems.
