Guests are required to pay for a compulsory Marine Park Conservation fee. Adults are charged RM 5 each. Children are charged RM 2 each.
For guests taking Berjaya Air, guests are to pay the fee at Tekek Airport before entering Tioman Island.
From March to October, there are 2 to 4 ferries to Tioman Island from Mersing. The schedule is only available 1 month in advance.
During the monsoon season, ferry operations may be cancelled by the Marine Department due to poor weather conditions.
