Comfort and ubiquity.

The hotel has a simple familiar appearance, it is very close to the sin center x the lack of breakfast the rooms are large clean the air conditioning did not work but x luck the temperatures were not prohibitive.

Simple but clean

The receptionist's service is terrible, the room in general smells like the bathroom sink, it is very central but if you were expecting a better service in general, the beds are very hard, there is no garbage can in the room, we will only be one night and goodbye from here.

It's a very expensive sale.

We were minded that it would be very basic for the price, but it was even worse. We were shown several rooms (the decrepitest of which) because they didn't serve air conditioning. In the only one that worked there was no way to regulate the temperature, it stayed fixed at 16, which made us freeze or heat up if we turned it off. That wasn't the worst, there was a mosquito infestation, we had to buy maquinitas, insecticide and sleep with repellent even after we had dedicated ourselves to killing at least 20.

The worst place I've ever been in Mexico.

It's a budget hotel but very central, it may have good rooms, but personally, I got a room with a hard bed, the TV didn't work, if it was clean, it might be an option, but check the room before you pay for it so you don't get a surprise, $500 per couple.

There is no TV service.

Hotel very close to the central square, rooms large and clean enough, structure with green space but no breakfast inside, not bad because there are many good solutions nearby, TV and air conditioning in every room.

Other machinery

We booked here because it was the only place in town that accept pets.  Often in our travels we have had to stay is sub standard hotels because of our dog.  This hotel is the best location in Chiapa de Corzo.  Near central square and the river.  Room was basic but very comfortable. AC worked great.  They do have free parking but it is several blocks from the hotel.  No problema parking on the Street right in front, as it is a peaceful, quiet Little town. Trip up the canyon was beautiful.

What we expected.

Simple. basic. simple. that's what it offers: accommodation close to one of the many ferries to take a boat ride through the Grijalba al canyon del sumidero, a half-quadra del muelle and in front of the church of Santo Domingo in Chiapa de Corzo. expensive for what it offers $500.00 per night, they offered discount per low season  Very nice reception girls.

For what it is.

We had originally planned to stay two nights in Chiapa de Corzo but decided quickly that one night was plenty and that if we returned in the future we would stay in San Cristobal and just daytrip to Chiapa de Corzo.  The hotel, like many in Mexico, has an interior courtyard which doubles as an echo chamber.  It was the most expensive hotel of the three we stayed in while in Mexico this time and it was not a good value as the others were nicer.  We paid 500 pesos for the night for two people.  It does not have parking so we parked on the street practically in front of the hotel.  The location is great as it is a very short walk to the river and to the market and town square as well.  The rooms are very small and somewhat dingy.  The beds and pillows are not very comfortable but nor are they horrible.  The air conditioner worked well so the temperature of the room was always comfortable.  

Underwhelming but at least it has air conditioning!

Hotel centric, clean and economical, considering that it is a very small town, I was there during the party of January, because the truth of having found available accommodation was an excellent one, the people were very friendly, and from the hotel you can walk to the restaurants near the river, in addition to going for a stroll along the majestic canyon of the Sumidero
