I don’t know if you have kids but if you do you probably watched the new Disney movie “Encanto”, and let me tell you this, this Airbnb feels exactly like its straight from this movie.

Every room has its main door leading outdoors in the common area and omg what a gorgeous place. There’s a beautiful little pool with stones paving and the outdoors diner table ideal for a small family.

Each room has the look and feel of a castle in spain with vintage showers and baths but that are working perfectly fine with hot water and pressure.

In the morning, you have the luxury of having amazing private chefs cooking a wonderful healthy breakfast in the comfort of the airbnb.

10/10 would recommend

A night straight from the movies

This is one of the cutest, most accommodating places I have stayed at.

Location is superb, just a few blocks from main square and you can go walking to virtually anything in Valladolid.

The room was huge, super ample and spotless. All furtniture and lay out is like in the old days. It feels like all is original and you are literally sitting in a hundred year old chair.

The pool is a great addition, since you would want to cool-off after being around in the heat.

Don't expect a gourmet breakfast, but it certainly is a nice touch to your stay.

All in all, everything is great! I won't stay anywhere else if I travel for a few days to Valladolid.

THE PLACE TO STAY

I absolutely adored the room and interior design of this hotel. The room was so spacious and so was the bathroom. the staff was super friendly and helped out with all our queries. There are also bikes in the hotel that you can rent. the center is within walking distance. Would highly recommend staying here.

Excellent stay in great location

Run away if you want to sleep. We took the room on the roof and we didn’t sleep because the room is very noisy. Too much noisy road, dogs and cock ! 
If you want 2 minutes of hot water you must want 10 minutes in a cold shower. Every 10 minutes you get the chance to have 2 minutes of hot water or very hot water. You must be quick in the shower and lucky. 
We won’t come back. 

Run away 

After reading some of the reviews, I decided to stay at this hotel, but although the rooms are beautiful as shown in the photos, the rest of the photos aren't as real, of the 3 days I was there I couldn't even take a decent bath, no hot water and when I asked them to review they said yes, but nothing happened.

No, it wasn't what I expected.

Our room looked nothing like the photos on booking.com. It is extremely small, no windows, horrible bathroom. Access to our room was by steep stairs without railing. Hotel was empty. I asked if we could have a room in bottom level they charged us extra and then said we would need to pay additional money to stay in another room.

Breakfast is NOT included as advertised. Two of three days there was no hot water. We had to ask for towels and blanket.

But the worst part was the lack of empathy from staff. I have had surgery on my ankle and seeing my difficulty in going up the dangerous stairs, they never offered to change us when there were serval other rooms at ground level.

Extremely disappointed! Since it’s Christmas we were not able to find another hotel so we could move and be comfortable

Worst hotel ever!

The bad thing is we realize that Gonzalo arrives at seven and leaves at nine at night, in Mexico such a long day is illegal and is a violation of worker's rights. The second: we ran out of water and it took us many hours to fix it, we couldn't bathe after swimming and decided to go out and hang out in what they did. When we arrived at night waiting for a good hot (surprisingly cold) bath, it turned out that there was no water. They don't have a night shift, so we could only communicate via WhatsApp. The hostel offered us a free one; however, the minimal effort was made to return to the hotel to fix the problem, leaving us with no problem, even a single hot tub.

We're running out of water!

We drove by this as we thought it was a home, it is secured on 4 sides and opens up to a court yard similar to many properties in this area.  The rooms are so nice, very nice linens, outdoor shower, they are a bit small but the way the property is set up is so neat, small place with not many rooms, the caretaker cooked for us we LOVED this part, the food was fresh and it was delicious, just don't expect a normal 'hotel' room as it is different, but in a very cool way, I highly recommend this property.

Great Stay / Interesting Experience

When we arrived Gonzalo showed us the place and we saw the different rooms, each more beautiful than the other. He asked our preferences for breakfast, which was wonderful because my girlfriend is a vegetarian, he gave us suggestions for restaurants, cafes and activities, and he made our check-in very nice. In the morning he waited for us for breakfast.

A jewel of Valladolid

This place was awesome. The colonial arctitecture was great. The small plunge pool was clean and well maintained Our room had three tall double doors which is keeping with the colonial heritage. The breakfast was traditional and the coffee was excellent.
