The facilities are old, and the bed is as durable as the pillows, the TV is small and very old (it makes noise when it's on) and there's only hot water at certain times, but as I said within your category and for the price of 320 two people per night it's very good, has wifi, cable, good location, pet friendly, and clean. As for the staff, there's a very kind gentleman and a very kind lady.

Escape from Zacatecas

A very economical hotel, yes, it was the first thing we found on arrival, only real. I found it uncomfortable not to last more than one night. It was an uncomfortable bed, very enclosed rooms without ventilation, bad vibes, noisy surroundings.

I don't like it.

The cleaning service in the room was very bad, the first day I arrived I used the sink and the whole bathroom was flooded because it was covered, my husband had to unplug it and we didn't want to bother those in charge of finding the bathroom water tank, we waited for the next day to go clean but when we returned to the hotel we realized that they left it as it was, just picking up the trash from the boats. There were dead and living cockroaches and they didn't bother cleaning the dead ones (very visible) in the walls, had the bathroom door, etc. The bed was hard. We heard a lot of the noise of the cars passing by. The hot water service ended at 12:00 am and the only tococo reception time was in the rainy season, on the night of the seventh, we had arrived at the locksmiths' reception, but we could only pay attention to the ladies who were in charge of the reception.

 Lack of cleanliness

It's easy to get to the hotel, it's about 10 minutes from downtown on foot; it's got a parking lot with a very inaccessible schedule, it opens at 10:00 am and closes at 7:00 pm, the rooms weren't very good, but the layers were quite comfortable, you could use cable TV and Wi-Fi even though the signal intensity wasn't good throughout the hotel, the bathrooms were recently remodeled so that you were clean, the staff was friendly even though the attention wasn't personalized, what I really liked about the hotel was that they didn't have any inconvenience of receiving you with pets, which was incredible for this trip.

Prices are affordable but the room I occupied, 17, was pretty ugly and in poor condition, just like the rest of the hotel, lacking enough maintenance to provide a quality service.

We stayed here recently and were very comfortable. For people traveling with a car and a dog, this place is perfect. It is also secure. It is a 10 minute walk to the center of this fabulous city. Zacatecas is a city that makes you feel welcome, cars stop so you can cross the street, people talk to you as if you are an old friend, courtesy is a way of life. I loved it, can't wait to go back and stay at Hotel Colon!
