The hotel was overall dirty (stairs, floors, restaurant etc) and the room also. In the room there was dust everywhere, the sealing had mold and bedsheets and towels had holes. 
There was lot of smoking in the lobby and the reception guy was always missing.
The breakfast had no buffee and they only offered different types of eggs that were very very greasy and most of the time cold. If you ask no meat for breakfast you get NO FOOD AT ALL.
The standard room had no balcony, we changed and payed for a room for balcony BUT they didn’t come to clean it NEVER. We had to ask them to get our towels changed.
The checkout time was at 10 and after that we couldn’t use the pool. And the pool… it had holes in the floor. Also no deck chairs and only one sunshade.

Every morning there are guests with dogs in the hotel. No one says hello in the room. Everything is broken. There's no tea in general, neither for dinner nor for breakfast. At lunch there are three drops of tomatoes and garnishes and everything! And it's the season of vegetables and fruits. The staff drinks coffee and smokes at the reception, the smell of tobacco stands all over the hotel. There are guests with dogs in the hotel. Nobody ever says hello in the room. Everything is broken. From the roof of the bathroom, the closet, the extra bed is broken.

If you want to ruin your vacation, welcome to the Regina Jelena Hotel.

They were shocked. They went into the room with the walls covered in lipstick. The shelves were torn in two places. The drawer was broken, the door was taken and it's stuck by the wall. There was no toilet paper and no soap either.

Hotel Regina Elena

We stayed at this hotel for a week in the beginning of June 2019. Location of the hotel is really good, short walk to the beach, to the supermarkets and bus stations. Old town is a bit farther, but easily walked by foot. 
The hotel is conveniently small and quiet, although the staff is smoking in the hotel rooms non-stop in the lobby and in the dining room (while i was eating breakfast, a staff member lighted a cigarette beside me). 
The rooms were tiny, but clean, the cleaner came every day. But for some reason the bathroom floor was always wet from the same place, so there was mould... maybe some kind of a leak.. One day we did not have hot water. The breakfast was rather poor (white bread, cheese, cucumber, sausages, some fruits every single day), certainly don't suggest to take dinner. 
In the description of the hotel, a pool is mentioned, well it wasn't opened while we were there. From the first day the staff told that maybe tomorrow, maybe a day after tomorrow, maybe in three days we will open the pool (renovated because of the damages the thunderstorms made there in May).. well 7 days later and nothing changed. 
From the positive side, there was not a single problem with Wi-Fi. The staff was mostly helpful and kind. The location is really good, rooms are clean. But i really wouldn't recommend this hotel for a family vacation with kids and non-smokers.

More a negative experience than positive

Hotel is only 10 minutes from the beach, 30 minutes to the old town. Rooms are spacious with aircondition and clean. 
Negative:
If you have a car is problem find parking.

Nice budget hotel

We were 12 years old.A very cozy hotel,but the restaurant in the hotel didn't work fully.The location is convenient,the hotel itself is small and quite cozy.On the roof there is a swimming pool and a picturesque view opens,A very nice balcony in the room,you can have breakfast there, enjoying the opening view of the painting, breathing in the extraordinary aromas of Montenegro.

Pleasant romantic memories

This is the second time I've come to this hotel. It was fine the first time. The second time - Uzas!!! I will never come to Montenegro again because of such a bad man! They are not people, and we are not guests. Treat people like animals and take their money! Shame on Montenegro!

I'm not going to lie!

Hotel ageing untreated... hair in the toilet and shower, lean and not fresh breakfast the pool is small and not properly furnished... empty beer cans are staying there for two days... Positive location near the beach.

Hotel didn’t meet our expectations however Ivana from reception went out of her to way to try and rectify the issues that we raised and accommodate us to the best of her ability. Thanks for all your help Ivana!

Great Staff

We had a suite, which was clean and spacious and with balcony, which was usefull. If you plan not to spend time in hotel, it is a good choice for to stay. At night it is quiet, but during the day you can hear your neighbours and housekeepers clearly. I prefer eating downtown, keeping my finger on the pulse of the place I visit. Contrary to this I had to buy a package with breakfast and dinner. Dinners were in particular effing terrible. Not that the breakfasts were ok, they were not. Still the rooms were fine, service was polite and the hotel is just couple of minutes from beaches, 20 minutes from old town Budva. So thanks for hospitality.
