We spent two nights at the Arts House, after insisting with our agency that we absolutely wanted to go there. It is not one of the busiest hotels or guesthouses in Agdez but only for political reasons. And yet our stay at Mr. Abder was one of the best moments of the trip. As stated in the other reviews, the owner is the youngest son of the last great love Caid, he inherited this house in Pisces, which would be called a fortress in our house, which was falling into ruin but due to some of its history and family, little by little he rebuilt it. It resulted in a huge Casbah, with several rooms with authentic bathrooms and also that, only because during the restoration rather than the deserted rooms, he did not want the deserted rooms. However, in the past we have noticed that the hotel is in the shape of a desert, and in the middle of the desert, with a few rooms with a bathroom and a bathroom.

Not to be missed...!

Three lovely authentic kasbah with a gorgeous 360 view on the terrace it's worth checking out the breakfast is excellent and rich served on the terrace the welcome is warm the boss stayed to chat with us at dinner which was also very good delicious lemon chicken tajine i highly recommend c is an original kasbah

Pleasantly surprised

I would come to Morocco just to stay here, it's truly stunning. The Kasbah has been beautifully restored and commands stunning views over the surrounding palmerie, all the way down to Kasbah Tamenougalt. The owner (grandson of the last Caid) is super friendly and happy to chat it depth about the history of the area (in French). One night was not enough, we would have loved to spend a day in the palmerie and relaxing on one of the lovely terraces with mind-blowing views, but sadly we only had the one night. On a practical note, hot water and good rooms also, and truly excellent food! One of the most memorable places I've ever stayed, having visited 50+ countries in the last 10 years.

Stunning all round

The location and the hotel are very good, a real maze, very cool to let the imagination fly. Decorated with antiques makes you feel like you're living like 100 years ago.

It's good, the location is very good.

It's amazing what the owner has done here. Everything is falling apart and this house looks wonderful. 11 terraces and lots of space. There's plenty to explore. There's also air conditioning in the rooms.

The beautiful Casbah.

The Casbah is beautiful and comfortable, as well as the coconut that delivers delicious delight. The owner of the property is aware that these are located in a building with a fascinating historical load that can serve as a reminder of the age of the palace, where the owner of the house has a remarkable experience, which is that it is built in a very beautiful area, with the exception of the beautiful terraces and the beautiful terraces. The owner of the building is very pleased to see that it is built in a very beautiful area.

A paradise is a paradise.

Came to Agdz just for a stop on my way to the desert for business and had to stay at Casbah des Arts an authentic Casbah that was built in 1662 and been renovated by a Moroccan Film Producer. What can I say? Just wow !!! What a beautiful and amazing place to be ... what a wonderful  property with such an amazing view of the Draa Valley and Palm trees. While in the Rooftop, you'll have a look at the abandoned village with its authentic architecture... the staff here are amazing and caring. If you want to discover some history and love nature and quietness, Casbah des Arts is the place to be!! I am at my 2nd stay here and will definitely come back.

A trip to History

Superb views from the rooftops and an architectural labyrinthine feast. Great man in charge of the mammoth restoration, whose family home this fabulous building has been for centuries. Very arty and stylishly laid back setting and every turret with outstanding views of the vast palmeries and tagine mountain. Highly highly recommended.

fabulous place and project

We stayed 2 nights in April 2017 at the Casbah des Arts and it was like entering a fairy tale. The restoration was done with great care, the relaxed atmosphere, the good food, and the wonderful location! The rooms are comfortable, all in impeccable style. A dream!

One hundred and one nights!

If you come to Agdz, this kasbah is a must! Very beautifully renovated, and there is still much to do. But with the boss and the whole team I am not worried about it. But respectfully, there is also a kasbah just before that, which is also part of the expanded but divided family. And there we, the married Frenchman, were not even kindly received.
