Riad Jenna Rouge has become a huge disappointment. I've visited this place for over 7 years, but it's not deserving of a visit ever again. I believe the ownership or at least the mentality has changed. Both Riad Dia, Riad Marrakech Rouge have the same, terrible owner now. It's not about the guests, it's about making money. On several occasions, I've experienced to be given an unfair price or they try to overcharge, and today was the last drop. I called the hostel yesterday and got a confirmation for 3 beds in a dorm for an agreed price, but upon arrival, the receptionist says that it's overbooked, and there are no dorms for us. We are taken to a separate building and told to stay there, but they shamelessly try to charge us more than the agreed price, by almost 40%. I called the owner and gave them a chance to correct their behavior, but they did not care. It was extremely upsetting and unpleasant. The experiences I've had in all of the hostels of this hostel group are overall very disappointing compared to the many other great places you can find in Marrakech or elsewhere in Morocco. Save yourself from this type of behavior and support better places — They are easy to find with a bit of research. 

Save yourself and ho somewhere else 

Only positive aspects are the availability of the host and the closeness of the structure to the center of the medina. The upper matrimonial room is located on the ground floor, with windows opening internally, it is dark, smelly, dirty. The private bathroom is old and broken, there are holes in the cartonbox everywhere from which it is not known which animal can enter the room. The room and the Riad are full of carpets and sofas/stool with stained upholstery. The torn sheets. For two people only a small dryer and a canvas were provided, both old and old. In the room occasionally a cat who is undisturbed throughout the structure and often tasts the breakfast of the guests.

WARNING: Dirty and old structure, not recommended

Please be absolut careful! I was travelling alone and they charged me from my credit card twice the same amount for my room. I had contact with them and they don´t give me my money back.  I now will contact the marrakech police

not good experience!

I stayed at this riad during my time in Marrakesh and I loved it. This was a good luck riad for me, as I ran into various people I met all over Morocco and even Egypt. There is a video which shows where the riad is located but the attendant will meet you at the Main Street to direct you. The service from the attendant is unmatched. The attendant when I was there was so sweet and courteous, he would offer us endless tea. The breakfast was yummy and he was accommodating when I had other excursions planned to prepare my breakfast early. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler in this area. The Medina is about a 5-10 min walk. The riad helped organize an excursion to Essauria and it was perfect. I would not doubt in staying here again.

Great riad

Excellent hostel, with both private and bunkbed style rooms, depending on your budget or comfort level. Very kind staff who provide breakfast and are happy to spend time talking with you and providing advice. Be sure to ask if you have any questions about the city or your time in Morocco, as their kindness and openness will help make your time in Morocco all the more fulfilling. Thank you to the staff for the excellent time on Marrakech.

Stayed a few Years ago, wanted to write a review as promised

The host is friendly and very diligent, the rooms are comfortable and their traditional decoration, the Riad is pretty, the breakfast is very nice, the site is clean.

A very beautiful and pleasant Riad.

Facts: Good location, awesome view and terrace, terrible Wifi, uncomfortable beds especially if you sleep on top.
Some good tips from the guy working where to get stuff (food, sites, bus). 

Desert tour to Merzouga: booked from the hostel, was nice but quite expensive and in the last night 2 of the girls at the camp, 1 friend of ours, got sexually harassed by a berbere guy. When we heard about that the next day we talked to the driver and the berbere boss who took it seriously. They handled it the berber way, also we went to the police. The girls obviously werent in the mood for the offered compensation (they went to a shop to buy sth, before going to adress the problem at the police). The guy working at the hostel said before the travel that if we are not happy after, we'll get the money back. Of course that was just talk to convince us to book it there. When they offered compensation and asked what we want, we asked for a Hamam visit the reply was "are you crazy?!". Since we wanted to change hostel, they paid for the last night and that's it.
When it's about money people there change their tone and good will fast.

Perfect vibe, everyone was friendly and the hospitality was great. Badr was very helpful with directions and getting around in Marrakech. Felt very safe and would stay again especially because we had our backpacks with expensive cameras and laptops.

Best Riad

The Riad Jennah was hands down the best hostel I’ve stayed at. The included breakfast, the affordable rates, the small size made the hostel feel so homey and welcoming. The hostel manager, Badr, was wonderful and always went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend!

Best Hostel Ever

Very nice hostel with beautiful interior. The dorm was clean but the toilet door has a huge gap underneath and there were no sheets on the bed which makes me wonder if the blankets are ever washed. The pillow was also really uncomfortable and lumpy and wasn’t replace when I mentioned it to the staff. The rooftop is beautiful, would recommend to bring your breakfast up there as downstairs can feel very dark during the day. 
Didn’t sleep the first night as there was someone heavily snoring. The next morning I asked the staff if the guest was leaving or if I could move room. He said he was leaving but he actually wasn’t and was there again that night. The staff offered that I could sleep downstairs instead, so I did. But the staff member got into the bed with me and offered to give me a massage. So as you can imagine I declined and swiftly went back up to the dorm room. Pretty pissed off, with the snoring guest and my lumpy pillow. Both nights I got no sleep. 
Other than this very odd experience the hostel was great, good location and the small common area makes it really easy to speak with other travellers
