Jnan El Harti is a public park in the Gueliz part of Marrakesh, across the street from the main post office (and McD's) (The photo posted on Trip Advisor of a swimming pool has nothing to do with the park, by the way.) If you get there at early in the morning when it opens, around 9 AM, it is a very calm and a beautiful place for a quiet stroll and these spring days on Sunday morning there is a yoga-movement group --- mostly Moroccans but also others----who meet in the cupola in the center of the park and do their thing to a recording of Japanese meditative music... so it adds a unique touch. The layout of the park affords a lot of nice views of a large variety of plants and trees. Later in the day, it's also very nice but has, of course, more people and a good share of young couples which can be annoying to some people. The park closes at at 6 pm in the warmer months,  but at 5 winter and in Ramadan.

A really nice place for a quiet stroll

We spent one night at the El Harti Hotel and we weren't ready to set foot there again! Indeed, it was impossible to sleep as the basses of the underground discotheque echoed in the room (we were on the 4th floor)! The noise started around 11:30 p.m. and didn't stop until about 5:00 p.m. Even with quiet balls, it was impossible not to hear the music (or rather the boom boom). So the night was very long... Besides, the cleanliness of the floors and the bathroom leaves to be desired, all the furniture in the room is stained, dirty. To close this white night, we realized that hot water is an option at the El Harti Hotel! When you see the price of the room, you notice that it is almost a joke, Bref!

Save yourselves!

We went to Marrakech for two days and booked two nights in this hotel with the breakfast. So when we arrived, we noticed that the hotel has three stars (according to the country's standards) but after our stay, we would say that it is three stars... We had a room on the 4th floor, room 407. This one looks over the park. It's big, okay, but it's hard to repay. So the beds are dirty and very worn out. So when we arrive, we notice that the hotel's two-star hotel (according to the country's standards) does not work. But after our stay, we will say that it's three-star hotel. It's a horror.

There are cockroaches everywhere, dirty sheets unchanged, nothing working in the bathroom, no remote control, completely rude and disrespectful staff, garbage filled the pool.

Don't you ever go there!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff were perfect and took care of all their needs.They were pleasant and cheerful and really made us feel like the hotel was our country house.The staff was perfect, but the entrance and service is normal.

The personal era was perfect.

Hotel in good position, about 15 minutes walk from the main square, rooms are sufficiently large and clean, in the evening the club in the hotel can give a little annoyance. Breakfast is definitely scarce, some jam and some bread, with some not very fresh brioches, the lounges and dishes are definitely not clean.

Improved

It's probably a cover to hide other illegal activities, we left in less than 24 hours, there are places where you don't want to stay like, for example, a morgue, the North Station toilet and Jnan El Harti, on par.

I'm going to be a little bit nervous.

I've found this hotel in the older guidebook, where it was described as very good but I was dissapointed. The hotel had surely better times. It was a fancy hotel some time ago but now it looks shabby and the stuff doesn't care about it. 

Positive: nice view, 2 small balconies in the room, clean and big room, good bed, TV, fast WiFi, elevator, hot shower, nice big bathroom, small fridge, hair dryer, soap, towel.

Negativ: not the best location (though still ok), a bit noisy in the morning, the balcony doors didn't work well so it was cold at night. The stuff was rather neutral, they didnt really paid attetion. Swimming pool isnt working, the terrace is very dirty and shabby so no pleasant time to sit there even for a minute. Bar - while ordering the alcohol they started the price from 70 euros which was at the end 4Euros. Either they dont speak french or english at all or just pretending but ordering the ordinary alcohol was an experience. 10 Min discussing the price and quantity and another 15 Min to get it. No fixed prices. 

Breakfest: very basic, orange juice probably from the powder, no more coffe at the time I came (around 9am) and again - no possiility to sit outside on the veranda, extremely dirty.

Price: around 45 Euros, fixed prices.
In total: hotel with potential (great view over the park, sunset, actually nice room etc) but it should cost less in the condition it is. There are many hotels around so I wouldnt go there again.

Just a place to sleep

The hotel is very bad. It smells bad, dirty in the common areas, old, cockroaches in the rooms and common areas. The food is acceptable and abundant, the native and service staff. Although the cleaning is not good in the common areas, the rooms are acceptably clean, despite the problem of cockroaches. They appear from cracks and defects in the building, built in adobe. From the feeling of being something normal, I don't say it with sarcasm. If you come to Galicia and stay in a typical country house, you can't expect the cows not to do their needs in front of the door, and that the pastor is surprised by it... I like to mention something that is not so typical, besides the staff and the food, which was animated in the scenes, except the music of the dance of the animals.

Very good.

cockroaches everywhere, dirty rooms not cleaned, broken lamps, TV without remote control, impossible to sleep in the room... the pool is tiny and surrounded by garbage and the staff is very rude and doesn't necessarily speak French. For breakfast the croissants seem to have a month, there's nothing edible. I don't understand how this hotel can have three stars...
