We stayed at the soft camp lodge.
It has everything you need ans the surroundings are stunning!
You can do great walks and sunset drives here. It is also very close to the Sossu Vlei. 
Staff is very helpfull and friendly, I would defenitly tecommend this plsce!

Great stay!

Ericsen's fabulous welcome, no7s we were overcrowded in beautiful rooms with incredible desert views. Excellent, pleasant dinner and evening under the starry sky is magical. 2 exceptional nights. Visit with Werner as a guide for Sossusvlei which I highly recommend (we had to go there alone) because he knows so well the places to see and the right times to take beautiful pictures we would never have seen these places so well, do not hesitate it is worth the cost.

Amazing + guided tour of Sosusvlei

We stayed three nights as part of a package from Windhoek.  What a beautifully situated lodge. Friendly staff. Plenty of hot water with great water pressure. We loved dinner outside under the stars. Food was excellent. We would stay here again.

Wonderful lodge in the desert

One of the best lodges I've ever been to. The rooms are large, clean and fresh, but undoubtedly the added value is the window with its balcony facing directly over the Namib Desert. The view at sunset is priceless, as well as the lights of dawn. Dinner is served directly in the desert and the kitchen is excellent, always based on local products, prepared as at home. Very characteristic also the common spaces, including the small pool in the desert.

Perfect, in the heart of the desert.

After a long day's journey, we tried to make a stop at a lonely place. Our night here was not planned, we arrived late enough, it was already dark but we were warmly welcomed! We were shown our family room, very well furnished, clean and cozy and then we dined outside on the beautiful terrace. The dinner was really good, with a barbecue of meat at the corner of the fire. What a surprise we had when we discovered the view from our terrace! The lodge is located in a beautiful nature reserve. We were very pleasantly surprised by this lodge!

We had booked a soft adventure camp, we were allowed to stay at the Namib Naukluft Lodge. Perfect!!! The location, the quiet, the wide food is just great. All very, very friendly - at the morning tyre change we were immediately helped by a very nice gentleman. We could watch the earthworms from the terrace in the evening, as well as the variety of birds.

What a pleasure!!

The lodge has a wonderful view of rooms and swimming pool across the Namib. Very friendly staff and very good four-course evening menu.

Unique location with wonderful pool

One has so many options to choose from when visiting the Unesco heritage site Namib Naukluft National Park, but staying here is so much more than just an overnight place going or coming to the world famous Sossusvlei dunes. It is a family run business for decades and thus dedication to both environment and hospitality embrace visitors with those endless desert horizons  to relax and enjoy the vista.
Wildebeest are gathering close to their open verandah which is not the usual game one gets to see in the area. 
Definitely worth a stay, even for a longer period, their scenic drives offer  incredible facets of this ancient landscape.


Close enough to Sossus but a diamond in its own league

We stayed here in February after travelling from Windhoek. 
We were warmly welcomed by Ericsson who was a little concerned about us as we were a bit later than planned (Namibian roads!!)
We were just in time for sunset and the views from our lodge did not disappoint! 
The rooms are well equipped and have everything you need. Our room rate involved dinner which is a set menu- we were offered a vegetarian option but declined. Breakfast was delicious and the view of the plain and watering hole was the perfect setting. We met the manager whose family own the property (I’m so sorry I can’t remember your name). He was able to point out lots of animals/ birds and recommend other activities to do in the area, including a hike on the property and a trip to the National Park. 
We loved our stay and it was the perfect resting spot before heading to Serium and the Dunes. 
Be warned the Petrol Station in Solitaire was closed the evening we arrived and didn’t have petrol when we went the next morning so make sure you fill up at every opportunity before heading south! 
Namib-Naukluft Lodge staff were a strong influence on our lovely stay here, I wish we had had another night to avail more of the amenities but we shall just have to return!
