What a great hotel! Location couldn’t be better, room is beautiful and spacious with a great view, the bar has a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly. Great that they’ll store your luggage too. Can’t recommend enough for vacationers and backpackers alike.

Beautiful room, great location, immaculate vibes

It was a very nice hotel in the middle of the city. The room was very clean, with its own shower and toilet in the room. The staff were super friendly. We had a nice stay all around!!

Simple, snug room in the middle of the city.

If the bar is also the reception - nice! We were greeted here by the receptionist/barkeeper very kindly. There was a cool atmosphere. We had a room on the 3rd floor with our own shower + WC, both very new and modern in design. Generally speaking, our room was very spacious and you got the feeling that you are in a one-room apartment without a kitchen. The stairs upstairs are very steep, extremely upstairs, especially with heavy hand luggage / suitcases. The toilet paper in the toilet was very thin. WLAN on the 3rd floor didn't work. And unfortunately the thinnest criticism is that the very good location also makes for a lot of convenience due to Lm in Amsterdam's central railway, and it was a bit more difficult to get out of here due to the total cost of 10 minutes.

Very good but noisy location

Stopped by here for a few drinks and played dominoes, enjoyed it that much we returned again. The bar staff were brilliant and I imagine this place to be brilliant and cosy  in the winter. The steps to the toilets are very steep! Really nice place, don’t think they do food which is a real shame.

Bar staff were so lovely and very helpful. Excellent location and great value for money for us students! Although the bathroom and shower was a shared facility, they were clean and kept in great condition. Room was just what we needed (you can smoke in it if you’d like although we didn’t). All around great bar and hotel - would highly recommend :)

Amazing Staff !

I stayed in November 2021 in a completely covid-confined area. The area is excellent, very close to the central station. We stayed here particularly because we had to spend the night to catch a very early train to Brussels, with which we walked to the station without any problems. The hotel like most, does not have elevators. As we had touched our room on the 3rd floor, packing was complicated. On the light table there were earplugs, that is a sample that finds itself normal in a fairly noisy place. Would I return? Yes, for price/quality, considering the location, I would choose it again.

I start by saying that in Italy, at the same price, you stay in a luxury hotel: the location of this hotel is excellent, but here you overcome the limits of decency in terms of cleaning and customer care, so such a price is not justifiable. We were given a room for smokers without knowing it. Smell of smoke to keep!!! To climb to the rooms there are very steep stairs: I think they are not even normal when on some stairs there is not even a shoe and you have to go down the stairs!!! The bathroom inside the room is clean and I stink, to the point that we refused to shower. The water is placed inside the shell of the wall, so it seems useless because it is impossible to sit on the dirty bed!!!! It is too much space and the legs are not even mounted.

Avoid it!

We called the hotel manager regarding our booking from March 16-20 and updated how we are unable to go because of the global pandemic. We also contacted and emailed Agoda shortly after. Our country implemented a lockdown on March 15 and Turkish Airlines‘ flights were cancelled. The person we talked to assured us a full refund. After two weeks, we were surprised when Agoda emailed us that the Hotel didn’t agree to give us a refund since the said booking was non-refundable and tagged us a no-show. Hotel International and their partner Agoda is insisting on their policy even with the global pandemic. This is unbelievable and unacceptable. They are basically saying that “if we are open and you can’t be there, then that’s your problem.“ What kind of establishment is this?

Their policy in the face of a global pandemic? “No show, no refund. That’s not our problem if you can’t show up.”

Hotel International = unreasonable and unlawful non-refundable policy. We were unable to go because of the lockdown and flight cancellation and they insist on a non-refundable policy. Stop taking advantage at a time like this. We are going to find a way to report you to Netherland government for unlawful business practices.
