If I could give this place a zero I would. Old, room the size of a shoebox, old food left in the fridge and the tv doesn’t work. They said they’d have someone here in twenty minutes to look at it but it’s been nearly an hour and there’s no sign of anyone. I’d call reception but there’s no phone in the room either. No care factor whatsoever. I would never stay here again.

Absolutely Terrible

A few minutos from the airport by car, it is a strange hotel.
Parte of the rooms are kind of inside a supermarket. Confusing. Part of the rooms are outside.
I stayed in one of the outside rooms. It was small, but well organized and clean.
Staff don`t know English, so it might get complicated, especially because there is no one at night hours.
Breakfast is payed separately.
 Price is not bad, about half what is charged in the city, but it is also very far from Aalesund.

Take it if you have a car and want just to sleep and save some money,



For saving money, if you have a car

Good location for us. Free parking, easy trip into Alesund. Part of a multi use property which includes a cafe and supermarket. Rooms were clean, roomy and quiet. Good breakfast with Bacon/Eggs available. Free coffee machine on landing. Fridge and "mini bar" in room. Friendly staff.

Comfortable stay

Really easy and good option when we arrived late at night at Alesund airport. The FB65 bus from the airport takes you to the doorstep of the hotel.
The VY buss timetable and ticket prices can be found on their website. 

Late check-in came with easy to follow instructions to get our keys from a locker/post box. Breakfast was actually really good! Staff were very helpful. Decent sized supermarket in the same building which was very convenient.

The room was well thought out with a free standing shelf in the bathroom to lay our toiletries and towels. Hairdryer provided. What was booked as a pragmatic overnight stay turned out to be one of the better hotels in our entire trip!

More than expected for an airport hotel

A large and comfortable room with a wooden floor, a comfortable bed, a comfortable bathroom and an optimal location for those who then have to get back to the airport, in about 8 minutes by car and leave the rental car. It takes about 10 minutes by car to reach the centre of Alesund.

Norway South-central

Hotel is situated in the middle between Alesund airport in Vigra and Alesund city itself. Appr. 10 minutes drive to airport, taxi cost 230 NOK ( better pre-book in advance ). Being in middle of nowhere, hotel is situated in building, which have multi-function purpose - there is supermarket, canteen, bus station and hotel in same building. Rooms are basic, limited supply of toiletries. Good breakfast. Acceptable for short overnight stay before early flight. Reception doesn't work at night.

For short stay

The reception is located inside a cafeteria/restaurant, where breakfast is also served, open until 23 and where you can dine with fish & chips, salads and hamburgers. The car park is located at the window of the room, for which we had the car under control. In addition to the hotel moat, there is also a supermarket, also this of course free of charge. Good breakfast, available and friendly staff. Small price ratio.

A great solution for those who need to stay close to the airport

...let's say the town of Aalesund is 10km away, free parking, I slept in the property and not the bungalow, it's very new in the middle of the hall there's coffee and tea all day...!! downstairs there's a supermarket enclosed, the reception a restaurant and the breakfast room (good) starting point for visiting waterfalls and fjords including Geiranger...

Perfect hotel, recommended.

The hotel is not on the same island as the center, but we were on a motorcycle trip, the current to get to the center - only two underwater tunnels - 15 minutes drive))) We lived not in the main building, but in a box of 9 rooms behind the main building. The room is clean, amenities are decent, a small terrace is attached to each room, however, the room itself is quite small. I repeat, we are on a motorcycle, so everything that can be removed is taken every night and carried to the room - from the temptation of others. And to put your own wealth in the room is absolutely nowhere. But this is a small problem, especially for travelers in a car.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night. Our return would start from Alesund airport and we chose this hotel because we stayed close to the airport. It is a budget hotel, has a supermarket and restaurant attached to the hotel, the reception is next to the restaurant and is not open 24 hours. The rooms are good, spacious and very clean. The staff were super friendly and helped us to book the taxi for the next day since we would leave very early (5am) and the reception would not be open. It was not possible to try breakfast due to the departure time.
