I stayed here for ancoupke of nights when I arrived in Lima. The family run hostal was very friendly, the bed was comfortable and it was the perfect place to get over my jetlag. Very cheap too, the owner was very helpful helping me know how to get around. It was a bit far fron the centre so I eventually moved but as the name says its a transit hostal.

Great wee Hostal

The breakfast was excellent. You notice the love they put in what they do. This is a walk-through accommodation, but Leonel is absolutely kind and takes care of herself because her guests don't lack anything. She even gave us a guide to her son, whom we remember with much affection. I think the best thing about this place was the service, as well as our driver who took us and picked us up from the airport, was very kind. They are very efficient and fulfilled with this process. You have to understand that it is a hotel with a walkthrough, no luxuries and some things in the aesthetic that could be improved. It is a hotel that is very close to the airport, you can walk out, but it is a modest neighborhood of the Callao. If you have clear expectations, you take no major surprises.

The service is the best of this place, very close to the airport and with transportation and breakfast.

Stayed here for a night. Room was basic but the hot water worked well, which is nice. Towels were also provided free of charge. Breakfast exceeded expectations - I was really surprised to see a spread of bread rolls, fruit and a boiled egg on the table accompanied by a sign with my name! For $20, this is all a pretty good deal! 

There’s also transport provided between the place and the airport for $3 each way which I absolutely recommend. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I hadn’t had the time to arrange this and got totally ripped off (like by 10 times the actual cost) by a thug of a taxi driver who took me to the wrong place at first and would probably have done worse had I not had a booking here. A word of advice, NEVER follow anyone who approaches you in the arrival hall and offers taxi services. Either arrange with your accommodation or just book from a counter. It’s much safer. I really want travellers to beware of these thugs and hopefully they will eventually be forced out of their business of cheating people. This neighbourhood is really dark at night and the streets don’t seem very safe so I’d recommend just arranging a direct shuttle and staying in for the night. I had some snacks with me so I chose not to have dinner. (P.s. Sorry about the rant that went a bit beyond the accommodation; I was pissed that night). 

Lastly, the staff here only speak Spanish, so learning a few helpful words/ phrases such as how to tell the time (for arranging transfer back to the airport) would be useful. 

Decent place for layover 

Booked this place as out first night stopover in Lima , Peru.
Once there we asked the staff were to get some food, and were directed to a shopping mall about 15 minutes walk away.
left the next morning $US140 lighter, as whilst we were out someone had stolen this from my bag in the room.
They had cunningly taken only this amount so that if I were to look, I would still see the money there, but probably unlikely to count it until later.
We were very angry, but alas, too late to do anything as we left for Cusco early the next morning, and did not discover the loss until in Cusco.
Whilst I am loath to point the finger directly at management, no one else would have keys to the room, and they were aware I had $US cash, as I had to pull it out when paying.

Would never, ever go near this place again, its not even that cheap.
Stay away.

Ripped Off.

We had a long-haul trip to Lima and took advantage of it to get to know the city, the accommodation was all we needed, we were picked up at the airport and taken back to continue our journey.

A clean and curious place to arrive and rest after a flight, MARIA and Alexandra very nice girls deserve a little detail.

A good hostel.

Location - close to airport (estimated approx 2km), free pick up/drop off. Breakfast above average - freshest bread rolls on my Peru trip, boiled egg, fruit, plenty of coffee/tea.  Location far from Peru sights so really only suitable to break an overnight airport stay. People coming/going at all hours can make it a bit noisy. Pick up meeting point instructions a bit tricky to understand (if arriving from a domestic flight you need to exit the terminal and walk outside to the other end of the terminal building where international arrivals and meeting point is - security won’t let you walk there inside the building. It’s a short 200m walk, safe but not obvious unless you are familiar with the airport). Rooms are basic but what you’d expect for price/location.

Convenient, economic airport stopover

The accommodation was very nice and comfortable, the attention and service of the owner was excellent, El Dueño Sr Lionel was always attentive to any needs or concerns we might have. very spacious, clean, comfortable and the insurmountable staff, from the moment of arrival to irnos, we were left with a few extra hours to go out at no extra cost.

It is excellent.

Excellent accommodation for after a long flight,I felt very safe when they looked for me at the airport,Lionel and his very kind staff attentive to every detail,the super comfortable room,clean bathroom with hot water,very rich breakfast and you will be taken back to the airport anytime...if I return to Lima I would return to book,excellent price very little for such a pleasant hotel thanks for your hospitality!!

Familiar, cozy for after a long flight.

We arrived late in the evening, upon prior arrangement they picked us up at the airport and for free. The journey took 10 minutes by car. Perfect place to stay overnight if you need to sleep between flights. The staff were very nice and helpful. Rooms simple, clean. In the morning we had breakfast ready and also ready transportation back to the airport.
