In a colonial house, this hostel is a little secluded, a blue door with no signs, a very sweet person named Santos to welcome you... 10 minutes from Plaza de Armas and 5 from the market of San Pedro, a good solution to spend a few days in Cusco.

Comfortable and cute

The apartment (family) was huge, with plenty of space and good natural light, a kitchen with refrigerator and microwaves in good condition, although the walls accuse the passage of time, one must understand that the building has not had much maintenance in years, one should not be carried away by the first impression, especially if you arrive at night, as was our case. A 17th-century gate and a beautiful courtyard welcome you. Everything decadent and beautiful. The best hot shower (gas) I had in 10 days in Cuzco and Valle Sagrado. The excellent location, 7 minutes from Plaza de Armas, through the Plaza de Santos.

Sleeping in a palace within reach of your pocket!!!

The hotel is in a great location.  It is 4 blocks from the main square, one block from a grocery store, and two blocks from several other squares.  We were able to walk to all the main attraction in the city.  The bedding was very good and the rooms very clean.  The staff was extremely helpful.

Good Hotel

You really feel at home. you get a key to the hotel entrance as well as to your room. a very quiet place and at the same time quite central. walking to the market of San Pedro which is only about 3 or 4 blocks away and the plaza is about 5 minutes walk away. very friendly staff, they worry about the hours of your departures, to bring you breakfast.

In the month of September I was in Cuzco and stayed for nine days in the Renaissance!!! The stay was great. It is a quiet, clean and very cozy place, five minutes from the Plaza de Armas. I kept my backpack for a few days to get more comfortable to Machu Picchu. The staff (Santos), is very friendly and you can advise in any doubt. Mercedes has it decorated with very good taste!!!!!

A good option, for travelers or solo travelers, if you stay a few days in a cozy, it's central, clean, you have your kitchen, something cool, but there are enough phrases.

The basics are basic.

It was off-season, so the cabin was just for us (and the cocker perrita owned the place).When we had some strange inconvenience at the hotel, they were equally upset about solving it.

Calidez is the only one.

Our room was nice and well equipped, with refrigerator, microwave, and boiler, and panes available, and hot water 24 hours a day.

I recommend it.

While I planned on spending one night there, I ended up staying for five days after coming down with strep throat and having to delay my inca trail hike. The staff, especially Ignacio, were incredibly accommodating. The place was adorable and rustic and within walking distance from main attractions in Cuzco. The breakfast was delightful, with different jams and freshly squeezed juice provided every morning.

Charming spot, great staff!

We stayed only one night at Renacimiento but we wished we'd stayed longer. The place is adorable, an old courtyard building with spacious welcoming apartments. The breakfast is brought to your room and there is everything you'd need for an extended stay including kitchen type stuff. We stayed at Ecopackers before our trek and then here after and definitely wished we would have found this place first. Of course as the other reviewers said, it's really Danke the dog who makes this place a home!
