You are probably reading this review because this place has received a number of good reviews.  Beware those reviews which appear to uniformly say things like "Quiet Place", "Secluded and peaceful". Balderdash.  Be aware that the guest rooms are as little as 50 feet from the main road which runs along the edge of the property.  Despite it being both a weekend, and a holiday, during our stay buses, trucks, cars and taxis trundled along this road late into the night and very early in the morning making our stay akin to that in a 24 hour truck stop.  While we had hoped to stay for days, we left after one POOR night of sleep.

In addition, advertised as "bungalows" these are actually clusters of rooms spread over two two story houses.  They are not individual bungalows at all.   If the rooms above or beside your are inhabited, you will be all too aware of their coming, going, etc.

otherwise, this is a small property with a nice garden and a very small pool at the back.  While one can use the word rustic, it might be more correct to say run down.

Pretty clearly there are quieter and nicer places in Cieneguilla so the reviews here are misleading and/or uninformed.  And the price is not cheap by Peruvian standards--ie., equal to a nice hotel in Lima!

For international travelers, be aware as well that while Cieneguilla may be somewhat sunnier and warmer than Lima at some times of the year, this is no garden spot.  It is a dusty town along the road and not worth any significant effort.  With all the pearls to be found in Peru, this merits a late entry on a very long list.

Noisy rooms along main road--beware inauthentic reviews

It seems to me too small to be a country lodging, it's pretty but small, the household that they leave is very deteriorated, and on top of that they tell it, which is bad taste, I think if you pay 350 soles a night you're not going to carry a household that won't even reach 30.

A small child.

It's a nice experience to escape from Lima and relax. It's an accommodation where you can be relaxed, you have the option to bring your own food, consume there or go out to eat because everything is very close by. We were in the first-floor matrimonial bungalow and the truth is very quiet, you have room to cook, store food and if you want to grill you rent it at S/15 soles for the cleaning theme but you can use it whenever you want. The pool is small but enough for the number of people who come to stay. Yes, if you forget to go out and buy something in the house (barrots) If the accommodation is very comfortable, it's cozy even for people in a wheelchair since the first-floor bungalows are very accessible.

We spent a weekend with my husband and daughters, the middle place has a large well-groomed garden and a middle swimming pool for adults (can accompanied children) with two spacious houses each with 2 levels, we were on the first level with a grill but the cost is 15 extra soles, the kitchenett is well equipped from dishes to teaspoons. There is no children's area or play area but they have two beautiful toys Beagle dogs, my daughters fell in love with them 💜 They don't offer breakfast, they recommend taking everything! or making a stop before you get to the place. The very loving owners make you feel at home, if you want the routine and noise of the city this is the place to go!!

If you're looking for a place to rest away from crowds this is your place, great to go with family or couple. Not with friends. 

Nice bungalows, great landscaping, it also has a small pool and free parking. 

Quiet place

An excellent place to relax, the bungalow very clean and well equipped with everything necessary for a good time, green areas and swimming pool, a very good option without leaving Lima and above all good care and a good price.

A relaxing agent.

On Friday, I married my wife who is 5 months pregnant, and my mom gave us a hard day off on Saturday night in Killawasi, but when we were about to leave, my wife felt bad, and I called her at 4pm on Saturday explaining the situation to the owner, and if we could please go next week, she took the defensive line, showed no empathy and offered a 30% discount for next week, I didn't feel a nice deal, the truth is with that I don't care if the photos look pretty, for me the most important thing about an accommodation is the vibe and kindness, so I said no, thank you.

 Disregard

We loved our stay here! This is a tiny lodge that feels like your own place.  It's lush gardens and rustic bungalows are perfect and cozy.  I suggested a fresh coat of paint in the bungalows other than that it's perfect.  Waking up to amazing views of the majestic Andes and the beautiful plants it's quite a treat! Plus the weather here is beautiful year round!
