Very sweet staff and a nice place but they have bedbugs! We told the staff who then told the manager but he didn’t care. We were all covered in bites. If you love bedbugs this is the right place to stay :-)

Bedbugs!!!!

Perfect location! Austria’s place is just near to the beach, ATMs, nice restaurants and Church.  Ours was a standard double room with breakfast, but we didn’t expect that it’s a shared bathroom. The room has tissue but no shampoo & soap which’s fine since room rate was cheap. Our room was spacious since it’s a double room, so we had the queen bed. Nothing to worry when someone is using the bathroom ‘coz they have the public CR located beside our room. The staff were friendly and helpful in terms of answering our questions and of the actual price of the cabs, tricycle, and other payments. We really love our breakfast even if it’s plated. Tricycle drivers can easily locate Austria. Happiness beach bar, T-Spot, Art Cafe and many famous restaus are just in front of Austria. Wi-Fi was intermittent.

Worth the money.

The kitchen in the bathroom walls, there is no hot water, no mirror in the room or in the bathroom, you have to go out and peinarte in the hallway, the views from the restaurant are half-fallen houses, the wifi doesn't go into the rooms, the room is tiny and the walls like paper, you hear all the noise from the other rooms, no mention of the paint falling into the caches, there is a little page that gets into the room when you want. The only thing that saves is the restaurant with the desires and the location, but there are many in the area that are better. Service: The morning guy is very good, the night guy is very bad, we communicated that our bathroom could not have water, at night, after 3 days we didn't sit in the first room, the manager told me that there was something that the bathroom had to go to the bathroom when he wanted to.

Terrible 

Didn't actually stay in the hostel but came for breakfast most mornings as it seemed to be the only place in the whole of el nido with good working WiFi.
The food was really reasonable priced and so tasty. The pancakes really were amazing. Would definitely recommend.
Only reason it got 4 stars was because I didn't stay so couldn't rate the hostel itself.

Great WiFi and amazing food

We rented a double room with shared bathroom and were showerless throughout the room. We had only two nights sitting in the bathroom with the auxiliary faucet. They didn't clean the room for a day, and we extended the stay for 2 days (total 5 days).

Never book in advance

Ended up spending a week in this place and for the price it was good enough. The free breakfast was usually ok with a lot of options so I tried a different one every day. The chef guy was cool and I had dinner here a couple of times out of pure laziness. He'd usually run out of a lot of stuff but always managed to cook me something.

The room was fine, no AC but the fan was strong enough to help it cool (unless there was a power cut). Unfortunately my window looked onto the restaurant so that would usually wake me up in the mornings. The shared toilets/showers were tiny but relatively clean so they did the job.

It's in a good location, walkable to everywhere in town.

So in conclusion, for the price I wouldn't complain about anything. 

Good enough, you get what you pay for

Great hostel in a great location.
It is clean enough and the dorms are good. 2 bathrooms in the dorms. Curtains on the beds for privacy.
Common area has enough seating.
Breakfast included is great, few options to choose from and good portion.
Staff are helpful with regards to check in, tours and rentals.
Location is bang in centre of el nido and convenience stores either side.

Wifi is unusable and the hostel dog is a pain in the a*** barking non stop all day and night along with the rooster from 4am.

Great budget hostel

The location of this hotel is fantastic, a few minutes walk from El Nido beach and restaurants and they offer a good included breakfast was lots of options. Unfortunately that's as good as it gets. 
The rooms are small, the AC is very loud and the bathroom  not great. The tap in the sink didn't work and the shower only worked some off the time. 
We booked Tours A and B with the front desk. We did Tour A first with some other guests and Tour B we happened to be the only ones who had booked from the guest house that day. As before we were shown to the beach and told to wait for someone to arrive and tell us what boat we are on. After 30mins a big tour showed up and we asked the Guide if we were part of his group and he said that we weren't. We went back and asked are we meant to be waiting this long and someone came to help. After waiting almost 2hrs on the beach, rental snorkles in hand and watching everyone else get on boats and leave... we were eventually told there were no Tour B boats and did we want to do another tour. We did not, by this point I felt like a bit of an idiot and just wanted to get of the beach. We did get an apology but no real explanation to what had happened (I suspect they left us in the wrong part of beach near Tour C pick up) and if we didn't go find someone we would of just been left there. 
When we arrived there was no towels in the room, so we went and bought some only to be given some by the staff x2 days after arrival. 
They also advertised they did laundry, but they don't. 
All in all, if you have more money, stay somewhere else. I feel I would of been more forgiving for small things if they didn't make us miss doing a tour, so if you do stay, perhaps book your tour with an actual booking agency. 


You get what you pay for. 

It is very cheap for a room in the centre of El Nido so that is great.
Staff is friendly also and there are a lot of breakfast options. 

Room: Tiny and a bit dirty, especially the bathroom. We had just a fan and was super hot. Then the power went out for a whole night so it was crazy hot in the room. (generator would be Nice)

Just all right if you want cheap.

We were delighted to see a number of hostels in the central east, which were clean and affordable, with individual and shared rooms, air-conditioned and bathroom facilities, and were great, just because of their good manners, so it was worth staying there.
