We enjoyed staying in kawayanan resort specially our kids, we are very lucky that we choose this place and stayed for 2 nights, helpful and friendly staff, reasonable room rate for 2 families. I highly recommended this place. Kudos to FO vicky & antonette for helping us with our needs. 

Perfect place for kids

This resort is a true example of “you get what you pay for”. It’s clean but the rooms are very outdated. They overuse cleaning detergent so if you’re allergic, don’t stay here. The breakfast is very oily, I had to get food elsewhere. It also doubles up as a public swimming pool so get ready for a noisy night until 10pm. But the pool is lovely and humongous! The owner is very helpful.

Fantastic pool, basic rooms

We only were able to stay one night before continuing on but very much enjoyed our night here. Staff was very helpful and friendly and we were thankful for the free airport shuttle pick-up upon arrival.  Would have liked to stay longer and used their fabulous pool!

Very fun atmosphere and extremely helpful staff

we stayed at this resort for 1 night. the staffs are very approachable all of our question were answered by them and all of our request was given by them without any extra charge. they also served breakfast it's plated. they also have strong wifi but not in the room only near at the reception area.We are always having are swimming here when we have time because of the ambiance and the location is accessible.

AFFORDABLE WITH QUALITY

Made the mistake of booking on a Saturday when the place is full of screaming children having a birthday party till 10pm. Ofcourse was not told of this until check-in and payment made. Same on the Sunday. Room very basic, smelt of urine with uncomfortable bed.Regular lengthy brown outs so forget wifi.
Cancelled the second nights stay and have been refused a refund. 
Over priced for sub standard kids playground.

Nice super-maintained hotel very flowery and tree-lined. Good location because slightly detached from the main axis. Careful host and staff too. We went there in January and then returned in February. Our friends joined us and loved it too. I would love to go back.

For the past three days there were always 'what if' connection problems, and as a result we were never given the password, and the pool is frequented from morning to evening by about 20 children.

There is no Wi-Fi!

I've only spent one night in this facility for my good fortune... with mosquitoes in the room and other animals of all kinds... but when it's too much and too much... everything seems nice. When I get there... it's out of hand and the managers take advantage of the wrong people with the smile.

Avoid it

We booked a room for 1500 pesos a night at 2. Very nice room, warm shower, nice pool maintained, wifi doesn't work in the room and works very little in general. Very good welcome, the staff is nice. The bad news is that the hotel rents its services in terms of organizing birthdays, parties around the pool. So there was a karaoke night (although we were told it was very quiet) and a lot of people at the pool.

It's a nice frame, but the noise...

We spent a total of 5 nights at the Kawayanan Resort because we liked it very much. The staff is simply brilliant but the resort/location itself is also very nice and well maintained. That's why the hotel is located near the main street of Puerto Princesa - within 5 minutes walk. Excursions, tours, transportation - they organize everything for you and take care of everything you need. The rooms have good air conditioning and are clean and decorated nicely. Breakfast is super delicious and at any time. Since it has a large pool and is in a quiet environment, it's also nice to spend an entire day at the resort. I'd always book back at the Kawayanan Resort.
